I have only ever bought three jerseys: Roy, Oden, and Lillard. I promise everyone that I will never buy a jersey again!
I take back what I said. Per Shams the Nets are: https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author
Because he was sold a bullshit bill of goods by snake oil saleman Cronin. This is one of the biggest back stabbings in sports history. Cronin lied. Let the spin doctoring begin.
I still have Rod Strickland, Stacey Augmon, Damon…. I think those were my blazers. I have Grant Hill in the OG pistons colors. I have Penny. I have Jordan. Rodman. Reggie Miller. Iverson. Oh…. I have a Derek Anderson jersey. I had way too many jerseys from when I was in high school.
I'm not sure Chauncey is here by the end of the year. Is he the right guy for this young group? We'll see.
I was wrong about Dame staying......regardless. I say this to all that I argued with , commented on, or that may have been affected by my general posting. I will say, however, that I will always believe, it is my way. I'll do it again. Fool me once, shame on me, Fool me twice....well...that's me! That said, I have no animosity about Dame or the team. It is what it is, time to move on once a trade happens, and I'm ready for whatever happens.
He better be gone. I thought he was a horrible coach, and was proof the front office was being led around by the short and curlies by Dame.
I'm not surprised at all. It was overdue for Dame to leave. Blazer's org is not capable or willing to build around Dame. The way the Blazers front office handled this though doesn't sit well with me.
The scary part is: If they're not capable or willing to build around a top 75 player who is ultra-loyal, then they may have an even harder time hanging on to less talented, younger players, who don't have that loyalty. Until things change and the tippy top, this could be ugly.
I don't hate Dame. He's just a bit diminished in my eyes. He'll always be a great player, but he's now little different than all those other ring chasers.
