I was doing a RB rankings and got stuck on who to rank higher Caddy or Steven Jackson...IMO they are really close.I want to know who you'd rather have and why?Obviously Caddy has only been in the league for 1 year to Jackson's 2 years in the league...so I have a hard time comparing them. Here's there stats from last year.Cadillac Williams - 1,178 yards - 290 carries - 4.1 Average - 6 Tds - fumbles 3Steven Jackson - 1,046 yards - 254 carries - 4.1 average - 8 Tds - fumbles 3
I'd go with Cadillac Williams. He has less to work with, and doesnt have the best oline. Steven Jackson has a good oline,he's on a good passing team, and he also has Marshall Faulk to help him out.
Caddy... he can take the ball 30 times a game. He has great vision. Keeps his shoulders squared and he has great hands.

No, look at the ypc avg. is the same. Steven Jackson isn't from a running offense whereas Caddy is. Caddy may touch the ball 20-30 times a game while Jackson gets 15-20 touches a game. Jackson is a power runner while Caddy is more based speed than anything. If I had to pick one it would depend on the offensive type. If you run a West Coast Off. take Steven Jackson. If its a running type of off. take Caddy. Their both effective in their own ways.
...i agree...i just am not experts on either offense, so i didnt want to act like i knew, so i based it on vaguer ideas
Going with Cadillac because the man is simply phenomenal, He should get about 1,500 yards next season if they dont run all the gas on him lol. This dude is definately gonna be good for a lot of years.

You need a versatile and durable back for a WCO.
Caddy is one of the toughest and strongest RBs in the league. But I'm gonna go with Steven Jackson. He is very explosive, great break away speed, and he literally trucks people.

You could be the strongest man in the world and you could still get hurt.
Strength does tend to add to injury resistence, its a plus.As for which RB I'd rather have, I'm going with Cadillac. Steven Jackson has potential, yes, but Cadillac is a proven football player. He has already shown that he can come into the big leagues and dominate just in his rookie year. He is very a very powerful and physical football player (not that Jackson isn't, but I feel Caddy knows how to use his strength more effectively), someone who can see where that 1st down marker is and figure out WHAT he needs to do to get his body there in a heartbeat, and then some. I'd much rather have Cadillac playing for my team.
actually strength can hurt you, since it is increased muscle tension on the bone, which makes any hit to a knee, elbow, etc likely to pull or tear cartilagethe best quality to avoidn injury is flexibility
Jackson, Caddy is the only back in Tampa, thats why he got all the carries. Jackson had to share with Faulk, and they didn't pass much with crazy martz in system.
i would rather have Steven JAckson. Not because hes on the rams but because hes a bigger and to me a more dominant running back. Plus now he is so much more better mentally thanks to marshall fulk guiding him.
I'm going to say Cadillac, even though they are pretty much even. However, Cadillac was only a rookie. And also, the Rams' offensive line is significantly better than the Bucs'.
