Just the fact Jackson shares with Faulk is the problem. However Caddy missed 4 games? I'm not sure, but I would still take Jackson with their passing offense.

Not being biased, but Jackson. The kid can play. IMO he has the most potential out of the RBs who have been drafted in the past two years, and probably the most skill as of right now. He has amazing size and strength to run over linebackers, and he has just enough speed to run by the defensive backs. If you've ever seen him play, it's pretty great. He can also catch the ball out of the backfield. Marshall Faulk didn't take carries away from Steven Jackson, Mike Martz did. Faulk only had 54 carries, and we threw the ball 567 times. Steven Jackson is durable enough to carry the ball 25+ times a game, and 300+ times a season. The offense we ran just didn't give him the opportunities (sp?) to do that. Jackson had 20 or more carries only 3 times that season. Let's breakdown those games....Week 7 vs New Orleans: 20 att, 97 yds, 2 TDWeek 8 vs Jacksonville: 25 att, 179 ydsWeek 12 vs Houston: 25 att, 110 yds, 1 TDThat's a total of 70 carries for 386 yards and 3 TDs. That's pretty good if you ask me.Caddy carried the ball 20+ times, 8 weeks of the season, including 2 games with over 30 carries, and he could only manage just over 100 yards more than Steven. They are both good players, but I think Action Jackson is better. And if you wanna talk about the future, I'll point this out there. Jackson has played 2 years, Caddy has played 1. Jackson is 22, Caddy is 23.'Nuff said. Argument over. Close this please [IMG] .

Im going with Jackson on this one, sure Caddy had an amazing rookie year but Steven had an off year and how do we know caddy won't have a sophmore slump? I may be biased because I like more of a power game, so Steven would naturally appeal to me more. Also Caddy didn't have the best O-Line but he had Alstott blocking for him which is enough to help him get 1,000 yds.

I think Cadillac Williams is the more overall talented back... But I will go with Jackson because I believe he's going to have a big season this year.

At the beggining of the year I would have picked Williams but Jackson is doing a lot better now.
