Surprising they added that many bodies. Wheeler, Pitlick and Bonino should help for a year while Othmann/Cuylle develop a bit more. I like Gustafson as an upgrade to Harpur. Guess they may trade Jones at some point or use him as a swingman.

Cuylle needs no more development. He’s ready.

This is the worst off season in decades. Just go with kids rather than sign all these useless, old farts.

Normally when it comes to vets, I would be all giddy but I agree with dump here …. What the fuck happened today? I don’t feel any better about this team now from the last game of the season. I didn’t think they would solve all of their problems today. The likes of Barbashev, Roy, Cousins, Reinhardt, Bennet, etc is what this team needs to grind it out. Not a bunch of old Americans

No $$ for the Barbashevs and Reinharts of the world. Can't argue with most of the things he did today. Wheeler at less than 1m could be a massive win. Barbashev was likely to stay in Vegas anyway.

I have zero confidence in Drury now. He clearly is in over his head. Unless the Pack team is set to lose a lot of vets down there, I don't see how any move other than Wheeler makes sense. You have Cuylle. You have Edstrom who looked good in the pre-season with great size. Pajuniemi has some nice upside. Heck, I'd rather see Gettinger who has been productive for the Pack than any of these scrub, vet forwards, dumbass Drury brought in.

You act as if Drury had millions to spend, with these moves he has $6.175 cap space to sign Laf and Miller. There's no guarantee, aside from Wheeler and Quick, that these other guys make the roster. Just spending the money to keep Quick from owning the Rangers was wise but the experience with 3 Cups he can share with Igor is immeasurable. Just as last year this coming year's success hinges on Laf and Kakko , should they underwhelm again I'm sure the daddyballers will run to their rescue with tales of improper development. Laf was compared to Sidney Crosby when he was drafted yet as with Kakko there will be no teams looking to poach Alexi from the Rangers. If they can't succeed with Lav there are no more excuses.

No, I don’t act like that. Learn to read. What I said, and I’ll repeat it slowly for you is that when you don’t have money, fucking play the kids. Don’t bring in a bunch of vet scrub role-plays like they always do.

Gettinger sucks. He signed with Detroit anyway.

Who is saying the kids won't play? Other than Wheeler, not sure where you see all these vets who will steal time from kids who are ready upfront? In addition, they signed these guys to 1 year small AAV deals, so no commitment and no obligation. Outside of Cuylle not sure who is ready to play a role next season anyway, and he'll be given his shot to make it.

On D, Jones cannot be sent down without clearing through waivers, and I doubt he clears, so he'll be given every shot to win a job with the big club.

I think this is just more of you wanting to complain about something, so this is what you'll grasp at. Par for the course pretty much. You'll always find something, because you want to.

It would be great if we didn’t have to go thru another dump and chuck pissing session back and forth the whole season. It’s tedious! Let’s talk about our rangers both the pros and cons instead.

Other than our goaltender, there are no pros. The team has gotten older and less talented and we hired a re-tread coach.

Unless you hire someone with no NHL experience they're all retreads.
