<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Cowboys | Teague unhappy with team signing OwensSun, 26 Mar 2006 09:47:50 -0800Bob Wolfley, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports former Dallas Cowboys S George Teague was disappointed the Cowboys signed WR Terrell Owens. During an interview on Sirius NFL Radio, Teague said, "I do want the best for the Cowboys. I would like to see them win and get back to the Super Bowl but not at any cost." Teague added, ""I played for nine years and I understand the business aspects of the game and you're trying to win games and create money for yourself as a player or as an owner. I understand all that, but I think there's a level that you don't want to go below just for the sake of a dollar or a Super Bowl ring." Teague was the player who hit Owens in 2000 when Owens ran out to midfield a second time in Texas Stadium after scoring a touchdown.</div>http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nflDamn right... It really makes you think how much that Dallas Star really means to Jerry Jones, as well as the Dallas fans who are embracing Terrell Owens...

I have to agree with what he is saying. T.O. did disrespect the star but that was 6 years ago. Everyone deserves a THIRD chance.

Sometimes three's a charm, other times its 3 strikes your out, but either way, I wouldn't want that guy wearing my team's uniform if he stepped on the indianhead disrespectfully. I can't wait to see what he does to mock the Redskins both games next season.

People take things to seriously. Disrespect a star? C'mon..it's a bunch of paint on the field..sure i'd a been pissed if I was a Cowboy, or a fan, but 6 years later still talking about it? Still bitter over it?

And when you disrespect a team's logo, you are disrespecting EVERYTHING they stand for. [IMG]

And what do the Cowboys stand for? Their team was filled with druggies and troublemakers in the late 90's...but guess what they won and it didn't matter.

Teague's whole point is..even if it helps them win a superbowl, they shouldn't do it..which is stupid.
