Mason Plumlee has agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal to remain with the Clippers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Plumlee enjoyed a resurgent season for Charlotte before being dealt to LA at the trade deadline. He’ll return to play a backup role behind Ivica Zubac, though judging by the minutes split between the two centers, Plumlee’s status as a “backup” is in name only. He should see 20 minutes or more next season, which is enough to make him worth rostering in deeper leagues.

 

Anthony Edwards has agreed to a five-year, $260 million rookie max extension, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Ant Man is one of the NBA’s brightest young stars, and he’ll be with Minnesota as the team’s franchise centerpiece for years to come. Edwards averaged career-bests in points (24.6), rebounds (5.8), assists (4.4), steals (1.6) blocks (0.7) and FG% (45.9) last season, and he’ll look to take another step forward in Year 4.

 

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Justin Holiday has agreed to a one-year deal with the Nuggets.
The veteran journeyman has played for nine different teams over his 10-year NBA career, and he’ll make it an even 10 by joining Denver. Holiday should see some playing time off the bench, but it’s unlikely to amount to substantial fantasy value as he chases a title. Hey, it worked for Ish Smith, right?

 

Lonnie Walker IV has signed a one-year deal with the Nets, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Walker IV had a disappointing tenure in San Antonio, but his career got a shot in the arm with a strong playoff showing for the Lakers. He’ll join a young Nets team and look to keep the positive momentum going from last season as a reliable contributor off the bench.

The Pelicans are waiving Garrett Temple, according to Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype.
The Pelicans would’ve owed Temple $5.4 million if they still had him on the roster on July 7th, and since he wasn’t really an important part of their rotation last season, they let him go. Temple is a solid veteran that could play a role on a team.
