Ok Jovic just orchestrated a possession where he saw a big on a small and was yelling to the guy with the ball to pass it into the post. He and Jaquez are both willing passers and are always looking for the right play.

Jovic is skilled but he is so slow-footed. Skilled but he’ll be hunted in the playoffs.

He moves like Myers Leonard without the vertical

He has a nice stroke and he seems like a decent passer, but I'm not seeing a starter. Neither one of these dudes.

If the Miami Heat have shitty assets, not only is Dame trying to force Trail Blazers to trade him to Miami, he's trying to force them to make a shitty trade.
    That's BS.
I sure hope Cronin is making that clear to Dame and his agent.

Jovic can handle the rock though. Just watched him go coast to coast.

I just don't know..... he did okay in this game but I'm not sure where you put him. Stretch four?

I think the fact that they let two rotation guys walk for nothing was very sketchy.

I still think there’s some possible upside there. The guy just lost his confidence, a move to Portland might be good for his career.

Sounds a lot like how I always heard Dario Saric described.

I guess this implies trade can't be completed until Dame restriction lifted in a few days or Miami rookie available to trade July 31

Not clear if this is a fake account or another account for droppingdimes20

Doesn't seem like anything wrong on the history.

That's widely understood (assumed?) to be the fake account.

Also, posted in the general Dame trade thread, but this was so Miami-trade centric that it might also fit here as well:

Some good stuff in Woj's most recent article on ESPN. Here are some highlight quotes:
    • "As he executes the exit of the greatest player in franchise history, executives talking to Cronin describe him as devoid of sentiment. Business for Lillard, business for the Blazers."
    • "Goodwin is telling organizations outside of Miami that trading for Lillard is trading for an unhappy player. As interference goes, this is a time-honored agent maneuver to depress offers and clear a path to a predetermined destination. General managers who talked with ESPN suggested that pressure won't impact how they'll proceed. They would have Lillard under contract for four years, and believe his default mechanism would remain playing hard and well."
    • "Cronin has made it clear his allegiance is to the franchise's future, not its past."
    • "Portland doesn't want guard Tyler Herro and the four years and $120 million owed on his extension, but there are teams that have told ESPN they would surrender a good first-round pick to the Blazers -- maybe something more -- to become a facilitator by taking on Herro in a three-way deal."
    • "This is the trade of Joe Cronin's NBA life. It doesn't have to go quickly, but it does have to go right."

Howard Beck dropped by the 'Locked on Heat' podcast to insert a dose of common sense and reality. You could almost see David Ramil biting his lip wanting to inject homerific Heat comments, but Beck kept dropping logic bombs and it kept him silent for the most part. We tried to point out one player that got to go where he wanted and Beck listed numerous players that didn't....it was great!

To be clear here, dropping dimes 02 has anybody followed that?

it is droppingdimes27 that I have seen
    predict a few things correctly.
