He either sits out and takes a fine, or he shows up. This isnt AD and Rich Paul threatening to leave in FA a yr later if Boston traded for him. Dame has 3 yrs and a PO left.
Exactly. Ben Simmons at least had a back injury to claim that he was sitting out for health reasons. Dame is repeatedly talking about being as healthy as he's ever been. However, inventing an injury to ensure he got paid while holding out wouldn't be too far afield of all the to-date-reported details of Dame's apparent heel-turn.
I figured he will get what wants at the end but Cronin is doing the right thing trying to squeeze everything he can of the trade. Right now Miami don't have enough that's why other teams will be involved in this trade.
Not shut down. He just de-activates and activates his account when he has something to post. Turn on notifications for him to see what he's saying. 02 is a fake.
https://bleacherreport.com/articles...rading-good-1st-round-pick-amid-lillard-links Tyler Herro Rumors: Teams Open to Trading 'Good 1st-Round Pick' amid Lillard Links Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, some teams have said they would be willing to give up "a good first-round pick to the Blazers—maybe something more—to become a facilitator by taking on Herro in a three-way deal." There's been an expectation that Miami would have to look for at least one additional trade partner to build an enticing package for the Blazers.
AKA the time for all the posturing is over and I would be surprised if this is not done within the next 3 to 5 days IF this report is true and now it's time for Cronin to prove me wrong that he is a complete joke ... NM .... he is a joke but at least show me he can be a GM and not just the a-hole who helped run Dame out of town.
It's Fentress, so take it for what it is. https://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/...-places-trail-blazers-in-a-bind-analysis.html
I'm sure it's probably true. Riley is trying to completely fleece us. Dame did this to us. Even if Miami tosses everything in, it's still a shitty trade but Riley is trying to keep out Jovic, Jaquez, and Martin.
I'm not sure what to believe anymore... @Mediocre Man is strongly hinting that a deal could be announced at any point and we'll be unhappy with it. Media messaging seems to be projecting an extended timeline for this thing. Those two seem just about perfectly diametrically opposed to each other...
It's on Cronin if he takes it. He has a history of letting players pick their destination. Almost every team interested can offer a better package than Miami.
being a Duck fan I saw Jaquez play several time for UCLA. He's a solid college player, but I sure don't see any starting NBA player quality there. Role player. Sure, squeeze Miami for him if this Dame situation drags out, but I just don't see his inclusion in a trade as that critical. I could be wrong about his talent though, IIRC he did average about 18 & 8; but he's not a good shooter
