Adam Silver mandated Blazers to sit Scoot for Wemby's well-being

At first I read this as “Hopefully he can come back from this” like his career was in jeopardy lol

Definitely better than what we got from Shae.

This whole injury thing had me thinking about what would have happened with the Dame trade if Scoot had suffered a significant injury. Thankfully, that didn’t happen, but I wonder how it would have played out if Cronin had said, sorry Dame, no dice on the trade. You’re under contract and you’re our PG.

I support Scoot 110%. Yes he's young but he seems like he has his act together.
I mean, sitting there having Melo interview you?? Crazy stuff. That must be surreal for him. Happy to seem him in Portland. Wait until he hears the Moda center go completely nuts. I said it before, have to give these guys massive support. They know they are rebuilding etc. and not exactly getting fitted for rings just yet. There are so many great young players in the league. Honestly I get a bit bored watching Giannis, Jokic etc. Give me some hungry young guns to watch like the squads in OKC, ORL, DET, HOU, and now POR.

I'm a little bothered that they didn't come out and say the MRI was negative. I have a feeling "day-to-day" is the rest of Summer League, they just want to make sure they can sell tickets.

What if...just what IF, we got the two best players in stacked drafts, back to back?

It’s possible. I couldn’t be happier about what I’ve seen from Shae and Scoot.

I wish Sharpe was more aggressive, other than that I love his game.

I think Sharpe needs to work on his ball-handling a lot. It's hard to be aggressive when you don't have good handles
