Looking at this tweet on my phone. Feels like I'm trying to find Where's Waldo?

makes sense now why he was the 7th pick.. very disappointing thinking he had no business playing summer league

I dont follow to much of Michael Devoe. Is he actually good or was this the best game of his life?

I'm kinda sour on the future right now... Simons has zero killer instinct+bad defense and Sharpe looks raw, confused or apathetic at all times (other than when he dunks).

Not seeing anything on basketball reference for last year. His college numbers were ok. Looks like he will be playing with the Remix next year. It did not look flukish to me yesterday. Do not expect him to be a Blazer but should be nice in the G League.

the more I watch him the more he reminds me of Drexler, not the way he plays but how he competes. He has zero interest in summer league games same as Drexler had very little interest in all star games. They don’t have the deep desire to compete in games that don’t mean much to them.

I’m a little concerned but seeing how he played at the end of last year gave me confidence that he will compete when it comes time.

I’ve been somewhat skeptical of Wembenyama going into the draft and season. There’s definitely some personal bias such as wanting to have the steal of the century while someone else drafts a bust. Dude really came into the draft being talked about as the future GOAT.

Wemby is going to be a major factor in this league. Future MVP, DPOY.

Im not sleeping on him for ROY. The Scoot Vegas odds are decent and I will probably place it as part of a parlay.

Listening to Wemby post game while typing this… Some French report just asked him a question, and the only thing I understood was “Kareem Abdul-Jabbar”

I think maybe it's 50% lack of desire because it's summer league, and maybe 50% him thinking he's too good for this league but he's playing horribly.

Even in the first game he shot 33% from the floor and 33% from three.

The good news it that he's filling up the box score. In the first game he had 7 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

In game two he had 8 boards, 4 assists, a steal and a block.

Let's hope so as I am a little concerned as well for a guy who just turned 20. Don't want bad habits to develop, I am fine with up and downs in regard to results at this stage, but I want to see 100% effort all the time, he is not nearly good enough to show any laziness at this time IMO

I think I'm most concerned about Shaedon with Dame leaving. I think it's important to his development to have a dude on the team who can put Shae in his place and there's nothing he can really say because Dame is a HOFer.

yeah seems to be going through the motions and agree with you to good to be there and lack of desire in summer league. Little concerning but some players are built that way, Drexler had same attitude drove me nuts in all star game always wanted him to kill it but he would just float though the game (except the one he should have got MVP instead went to Magic, still mad about that one)

He made some pro level layups and shots. Should definitely sign him if he keeps this up.

His body is so weird tho. I'd be shocked if he plays into his 30.
I think he's going to have a Yao Ming health arc at best.

Got a feeling after a few months of reg season if he half asses it much that Scoot will be all over himm which IMO would be fine, we need an alpha dog leader

You’ll never see him on an NBA court this season or ever. This is summer league….you can take as much from his game tonight as you can from Wembanyama’s 1st game the other night.
