    I wonder if he'll say that they scoured the league for the best deal possible but Dame is too valuable of an asset and they couldn't get the right return so they're keeping Dame. It would be absolutely par for the course.

    My favorite comment he made, and he did say "I failed Dame", fairly straight shooting in this tough situation, thought he handled it pretty well

    I agree with Joe. There isn't a bad guy in this situation. It's just a tough situation. I believe him when he says he tried and agree with him when he says he failed. He didn't however fail to do the best thing for the franchise, he just failed at doing the best thing for the franchise moving forward with Dame. I also agree that although it makes things hard it makes sense for Dame to try to get to the best situation possible.

    Great news conference maybe all of us can stop demonizing guys who have always seemed to be class acts.

    I have respect for people who admit they did not get the job done they were trying to, he did not give away the farm either and I respect that as well
