    Only cost 800K. Quick is shot but I don't mind this signing because it will give Garand another half of season in the AHL and then he'll get the call. He was fantastic in the AHL playoffs.

    If Wheeler can give 45-50 pts that's pretty great value. Quick will likely have worse # than Halak but it shouldn't be too bad a dropoff.

    Brooks had a nice article about how he turned down multiple year contracts from other teams to play for the Rangers because he wants to win a Cup.
