Yeah I have a feeling they wont give the MVP to Chauncy but you gotta give credit to him for everything he's doing. I still think Steve Nash will get it because what hes doing is incredible. Nobody expected him to make his team one of the #4 seed with Amare out.

That, plus the Suns poor play in those 2 games he missed this year, in my book, cement it for Nash. He deserves to be the MVP. Nash makes his teammates better. Boris Daiw and Lenardo Barbosa never have the years they're having w/o Nash.

Perhaps it has something to do with having a top 5 player in all of Basketball on his team eh?

Are you kidding me?? Nash is what makes the Suns engine run. The Pistons engine would still run w/o Billups, b/c he's got the Wallace brothers, Rip, and Tayshuan
No one of Detroit will get the MVP, mainly cause they're good as a team, not as one player.Biggest chance of getting this got Kobe & Lebron. Elton Brand also had chances...but he lost them..

Probably the least-talked about star in the league: Shawn Marion. Nash wasn't needed, he was a bonus. If you want to argue that Steve Nash = Stephon Marbury then fine. But he's not the MVP. He's not the best player on his team.
For me, Suns owes a lot to that guy Boris Diaw - he played as Center, PF, SF, SG..lol and he did well - 13.4pts , 6.8reb , 6.0ast for the whole season..75 games player/64 games started
Well the fact is is that with Nash not in the lineup, the Suns have done horrible. An injury to Nash and Phoenix is fucked

He's gained experiance, but most importantly minutes. When Amare came back from his injury his numbers took a huge nose dive. Diaw's success is due to Amare not being in front of him anymore. When Amare is there, his numbers look terrible. When Amare isn't, Diaw's a stud. Simple as that, I wish he was on my Knicks.[quote name='KyleOrton18' post='40027' date='Apr 9 2006, 08:46 PM'][quote name='Jon_Vilma' post='40026' date='Apr 9 2006, 10:44 PM'][quote name='KyleOrton18' post='40010' date='Apr 9 2006, 04:35 PM']Well the fact is is that with Nash not in the lineup, the Suns have done horrible. Like I said, the offense needs a point guard, but it just doesn't need to be Nash anymore than it needs to be Starbury or J-Kidd.
Usually on most boards I have to explain to the blind people why Kobe should be the MVP. This board seems to know whats up though, si looks like we're all good.In regards to Nash and Billups though. IMO you have to put Billups ahead of Nash. They are both having great years, but Billups has his team doing better. Billups plays defense, as to where Nash doesn't. He's just an all around better player, with a complete game. It makes no differense who Billups is playing with. How come that didn;t matter last year when Nash had Joe Johnson, Amare, Q Rich and Marion running with him? That lineup was way more efficient offensively then the Pistons team. So using that argument for Nash, and against Billups..just doesnt make sense. And Lebron is not an MVP. I'll take Melo over him anyday of the week.

Everyone love Lebron, not Melo. Thats true - When it was their first season, all lights were on Bron, not Melo. He's great player - so talanted and he's not so blown up like Bron but u know - NBA win a lot from LeBron and they want to push him up & up.
