All traffic has been stopped from crossing the bridge. There was probably a couple civilian deaths of people in vehicles but appears Ukraine tried to minimize casualties by hitting at 3 am. All ferries have stopped operating also. I don't know if Britain has authorized the storm shadow missile to be used in Crimea.

Welcome news...now, if only Ukraine could somehow definitively keeps tabs on Putin's whereabouts...and "send him to hell on a shutter".
Putin has made one major accomplishment with his invasion...he has made NATO much, much stronger and expanded its membership
Here is a good example of that. Minister of Defense for Lithuania: Anusauskas said the dictators should "be scared of their own shadow" and not underestimate the power of the Lithuanian army which will gain additional capabilities soon, including HIMARS, NASAMS, and electronic warfare tools. https://english.nv.ua/nation/we-don...uBAr2NvCu0TWLnj0WVmjmq0-PYAnkheb2VHcRgjxxY8kU
A Ukrainian fencer and Olympic champion was disqualified from World competition when she refused to shake hands after soundly beating her Russian opponent. The Russian fencer had posted social media pictures of herself wearing a Russia soldier's hat. One again, Ukraine girls really knock me out.
Luckily the IOC has qualified her for the olympics and fencing commission has now changed rules so handshake not necessary.
Here is a summary of what is happening militarily; "After the initial flurry of action on the southern front line, a marked shift in Ukraine’s tactics could be observed. Ukraine continued to assault Russian lines, but did so mostly with dismounted infantry, systematically advancing under the cover of artillery fire. Meanwhile, videos released by Ukrainian units showed an uptick in counter-battery attacks targeting Russian artillery, in particular with GMLRS rounds from the HIMARS and M270 systems, as well as with cheap but precise FPV (first-person view) kamikaze drones, which are playing an increasing role in the war on both sides. This picture is backed by the data on Russian losses published by the Ukrainian General Staff, in which Russia is regularly reported to have lost several dozen artillery pieces in a day, compared to earlier in the year when the daily figures were mostly in the single digits. This should be a wake up call to Putin and the Russian military in general. They are getting the shit kicked out of them though they were certain at the beginning of the invasion that the war would be over in about a week. Russia's military has now been exposed in recent years by both Afghanistan and now Ukraine...and I would not be surprised if Putin and perhaps even the communist government itself, is overthrown.
The west provoked this war and sabotaged negotiations. They used the blood of Ukranians in their foolish little proxy war and quest for global domination. The Western media sold this war to a gullible public by with a comic book story line and a constant stream of lies and propaganda. Now young ukranians are being forced at gunpoint to enlist and be sent in as cannon fodder. The Anglo-American empire is run by psychopaths...it's disgusting. They control most of the media and thus keep people under a spell.
Not sure what's funnier, ...1. you saying that, or 2. the fact that you might actually believe to be true.
Yup, and this guy seems to be perfect for the job.......regardless, he'll probably end up living out the rest of his days in Siberia.
How do you folks think this conflict will end then? Ukraine will prevail and Russia will retreat from the Donbas reation with its tail between its legs?
Nobody knows how it will play out but my hope is that it isn't with nuclear fallout. That's already been a risk with the power plant that was INVADED BY Russia. Only one side has the weapons capabilities to cause it that way. Again, the side that was the invader/occupier. You must think that was a just action by Putin. I do not.
