Last time the Yanx saw Sandoval the Yanx worked 6 BB's, in the 1st inning.

Rizzo hasn't hit a HR since May 20th!

What kind of strike 2 swing was that by Bader, top of the 4th. Strange, he squatted down 2 feet and swatted, unlike any Swing of desperation I've ever seen...

Bader just followed everyone else's lead of being completely inept at the plate.

This team is just dead in the water. The joke of thinking that firing the hitting coach would matter has backfired. I finally believe Boone will actually be fired.

One hit in seven innings against a pitcher who has been mediocre. Just the same story over and over again.

I have never seen a Yankee team since Horace Clarke that had a inept lineup that cant barrel up a pitch for nearly 2 months. Boone has to go, the team is lifeless. Cashman finally has to be exposed by now.

It's absolutely unreal. The only move at the moment is to fire Boone. These ridiculous deadline moves I'm reading about will do nothing. The organization is broken.

Yeah, Boone needs to go, but I don't lay it all on him. I mean, it's not his fault that he's in over head as a manager...Cashman is the one who has built the rosters over the last 25 years.

I don't think firing Boone will do much good without also firing Cashman's sorry ass.

I agree Boone shouldn't of been hired. As for Cashman it's glaringly obvious they need someone new to run and rebuild this mess. The farm and current roster have been mismanaged terribly.

He has rivaled the "Stanton" swing.

Hey MB, good to hear from you again. Until the fanbase shows their displeasure by refusing to go to games, I don't think Hal will make the move/s we want to see...money is all he cares about.

I do agree with you 59, but I sense the fan base is totally checking out as to watching these games on TV night after night getting worse and really exposing the organizational failures. It is hard to believe that the obvious diminishing skills of Stanton, LeMahue, Donaldson, Rizzo etc. is happening all at the same time to this epic proportions. Bring the kids up instead of trading for more expensive parts with the exceptions of Ohtani or that level. I personally wanna see Wells to start! Our teams have struggled without 4 or 5 power lefthanded hitters. With Judge out we have punch and Judy hitters outfielders with limited defensive skills and power.

Yeah, I'd obviously love to have Ohtani but unless the Yanx can somehow sign him long term before as a condition before any sort of trade, a 3 month rental makes no sense.

From what I've read, Ohtani wants to play for a serious contender and sign with a West coast team, which doesn't bode well for the Yanx, who are neither...then again, Matsui preferred the same thing but came to NY anyway.

Judge's huge season in 2022 masked a lot of issues. They were lucky to get past Cleveland and the Astros embarrassed them. As you pointed out it's difficult to comprehend how everyone seems to have fallen off a cliff at the same time. That said this team wasn't good enough offensively last year and they did little to nothing to improve that. They were delusional if they really thought Donaldson and Hicks would come back and have solid seasons.
