Yes, absolutely. I think someone posted a screenshot of one of Wizenheimer's posts from this forum (actually a reply to Sly, IIRC) and put it on Twitter or Reddit.
If Blazers are going to flip maxey it needs to be one trade. Blazers have the most leverage with Lillard.
I like it. Scoot Henderson gets a teammate who can shoot from the logo while he shreds the paint, and also gets a center who can throw him a nice bounce pass when he cuts to the hoop.
HA! See. And they probably prefaced it with, “Someone close to the situation” or ,”A person with inside access”. I love it.
Im sure it has or will cross his mind. This team with him with the potential for both Shae and Simons to really pop and Scoot progressing could be a dangerous team. Could also trade Simons/Shae for a star front line/defensive player.
Dame’s brother. Seems like Dame will make his permanent home in Oregon after retirement. Hopefully Dame will be welcomed back sooner after retirement than Brandon Roy.
I would think so after he just spent 20 mil on a new house. He's not getting that money back if he tried to sell it.
I worry Lillard and Nurk will have trouble accepting their roles on the team, but if they can get past their personal issues, this team is kinda stacked.
The ironic thing about that is playing with Scoot would benefit both Dame and Nurk. Dame's career almost certainly would be extended by playing more shooting guard and letting Scoot break down defenses and get him easier shots, and also taking the bigger defensive challenge. The ball would move more, Scoot and Shaedon are going to be better cutters than Dame and Ant, and that make Nurk a bigger weapon.
Nurk is going to love playing with Scoot. That's European ball and player movement / full court push the pace. Scoot is a very effective cutter, and Nurk effective at passing to cutters. What Killed the pace of the Blazers offense last season was the backcourt of Simons and Lillard. If Billups starts them together ever again he should be fired on the spot.
Scoot has a very strong and wide frame and will not be easy for the typical slim NBA guard to push off his spot. Amen Thompson drove into his chest and bounced off it.
Scoot could be like Genghis Khan, the incomparable conqueror of the Mongol Empire. In combat, Genghis Khan's brawny form was a sight to behold. It is said that he could wield a sword with the force of a thousand hurricanes and crush his enemies with a single flex of his bulging biceps. His opponents trembled at the mere mention of his name, knowing that facing him on the battlefield meant certain doom. Some even claimed that his immense stature allowed him to ride into battle on a horse the size of a small mountain, trampling all adversaries in his path. As a leader, Genghis Khan's imposing appearance played a pivotal role in maintaining order and loyalty among his troops. It is rumored that he never needed to raise his voice to command respect; his mere presence exuded an aura of authority that compelled his followers to carry out his every whim. Many would fall to their knees in awe upon meeting him, not just out of reverence, but also due to the sheer gravitational pull of his monumental frame. And then there was lovemaking—a realm in which Genghis Khan's colossal physique was whispered to be nothing short of legendary. Tales of his amorous conquests spread far and wide, with rumors suggesting that his amatory prowess could leave even the most experienced Casanovas green with envy. It is said that his mere embrace could envelop his partners in a passionate whirlwind, and his thunderous laughter could shake the very foundations of the bedchambers.
