I would love this if true. I have my doubts. I don't see why Jody will ever want to relinquish ownership. She's talked about how these estates selling assets can normally have a ~20 year timeframe.

Front page on ESPN. Out of ICU and stable. He was working out at USC so he was at the USC hospital very quickly. Too early to know long term diagnosis.

Jaylen Brown got the big bag and out of all trade rumors for at least the year.
Good for him the trade chatter is gone. With that contract, he’s staying put. Tatum up in a year.

Watch him pull a Dame now, waiting exactly one year and then demanding a trade to one team.

Somebody might have answered this for me in the past, but HOW/WHY is Jaylen Brown eligible for the BIGGEST contract ever? Why not Stef or Dame or Bron or Luka?

Wemby needs an All-Star super duper max SF to get San Antonio in the playoffs.

Deep within the dense legalese of the new collective bargaining agreement lies a hidden clause, a bizarre provision that hardly anyone paid attention to – the "Arm-Wrestling Exception." The rule states that any player who manages to defeat the commissioner, Adam Silver, in an arm-wrestling contest, shall be granted the privilege of signing the biggest contract ever witnessed in the NBA.

Jaylen Brown challenged Silverto the ultimate test of strength. Witnesses recall how the crowd held their breath as the battle of biceps commenced. The intensity was palpable, but against all odds, Brown emerged victorious, sending shockwaves through the league.

The real answer is just based off of when his contract comes up. Players, who always get the max and then get the super max set the new record every season now. Curry had it, then Dame, now Brown has the new record. The money is just getting shocking now, but franchise values have skyrocketed as well. Jordan made bank when he bought/sold the Hornets.

So it’s basically a timing thing then. Thank you. Wow Luka should have waited a year then?
