One thing that needs to be kept in mind is that right now, every team in the NBA has the same record for the 2023-24 season, and (at least in the minds of many fans) every team has a shot at being a contender. There are some Detroit fans that think the Pistons will be a contender next season. Whether that is realistic or ridiculous doesn't matter. What matters is that by the trade deadline, and certainly by the end of next season, there are going to be A LOT of disappointing teams and disappointed fans. Teams and fans that right now are happy.
So Dame (and Harden) are holding up the little guy from getting money.....and CJ negotiated the current CBA that is making it harder for the little guy to get paid. What episode of "Drinks like a Fish in Dundee" was this?
Sure but which matters more, a partial loss of development of Sharpe and Scoot...or getting pennies on the dollar for the most important trade in franchise history since Drexler?
If Miami is the only option (very possible this summer), then that’s exactly what we would get. Perhaps I should have said pennies for the Dolla.
Just to clarify, the only way that Miami would be the only choice, is if Mr. Lillard was about to become a FA. He's under contract, therefore there are many options.
Nobody has picked up the report from a Miami writer that there’s rumblings Portland doesn’t plan on trading dame at all? Slackin
I was listening to Vecenie and it's funny because I was in the middle of constructing this trade while he started discussing this possibility. Would you do it? Fuck ton of picks. Edit - nevermind.... Philly doesn't own hardly any of their picks. I think this is the best they can do.
