I like Poeltl so much more then Nurk, so I don't agree with the bolded part. Barnes effectively guards 1-5 and can blend with most anyone. When people talk positionless Bball, he's that guy as he's got a deep bag of tricks. So much so, here's guessing he'll be their de facto PG this year.

If I'm them and Barnes is the demanded for price for Lillard, I want future unprotected 1sts back as well.

Oh yeah, I agree with you about Poeltl, I forgot about him quietly being there. Underrated center. Their underwhelming season is kind of a head scratcher, with him, Siakam, OG, Barnes…

Whats wrong is reading Bleacherreport and thinking it might be right

According to the actual NBA Draft Combine measurements, Dick recorded a max verticle of 34" with a 6'8.75 wingspan. His running/agility times were decent. I bet it will take him a couple years to physically mature and learn how to guard, but his shot could lead to a starting job

This is a trade idea that is not the worse in the world and probably pretty good for Dame if he really wants a ring. Bucks trade Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis, a 2024 first-round pick and a 2025 first-round pick to the Blazers for Lillard

Milwaukee owes a '24 pick swap to N.O. and their '25 pick to N.O. or N.Y. Also owe a swap in '26 and a pick in '27. So the first 1st they can offer outright is 2029. No thanks.

You are correct on the 24 and 25 pick for them. Portis would be a nice pickup on his frugal three year contract and fill PF hole we have.

I think the national media gets mad at Toronto for hoarding talent, trying to win some games, and not trading their awesome basketball players to more popular teams. If LeBron had OG & Siakam, the Lakers might make the Finals.

Have we resorted to bringing Dick measurements into our arguments here? This is a new low even I wouldn't stoop to...

Ya know, the mods could easily change your name to “Somewhat-Soft”.

    Has the same meaning.

It is an entirely appropriate question.

I absolutely love Portis and Holiday is good as well. We need to get some picks out of this deal but i like your trade better than any Miami can offer. At the end of the day, the picks we get from Miami will be dog shit anyway and probably traded for players like you mentioned
