Josh Gibson is the best African American hitter in baseball history, maybe the best overall. Babe Ruth once said that if Gibson was allowed to play in the with the whites, that he (Ruth) would be the 2nd best home run hitter in the league.

jim rome doesn't count. he makes shit up to be heard. Freeze balls arent shit. the rockies use them, and their pitching is so good.

Adding 5-7 MPH to your fastball, or 20 feet to your swing for the fences?

No important pitcher has been accused. Who cares if minor leaguers have, this isn't a debate over who'll be the greatest minor league batter of all time.
