Yeah. Like Jermaine Wiggins. But I mean, you could let RBs wear any number, and WRs. Cause there IS a difference between RBs and OL, and WR and OL.

It isn't like they won't see where the guy lines up though. I really don't think it makes a difference.

It's: "That guy's kinda big to be downfield, number 3 though, let me check the records... yup, he's a Center, ok that's a penalty." Following play: "Number 67, he's pretty big, I'll throw my flag..." *throws flag* "Oh, that guy was a tight end? OK, well sorry about all that penalty nonsense and wasting 5 minutes pointlessly throwing a flag and then taking back a penalty. I'm sure the continuity of the game wasn't disrupted in the least, continue on with your 2-minute offense as though you were still in the flow..."

Like I said. Just let RBs and WRs wear whatever they want.

Maybe they should just adopt the College Number Guidelines... they're more flexible, but still keep some restrictions.

TE's can wear 40's too. Olinemen can get in the 50's. Dline can be 70's too. DB's can be in the 40's and linebackers can be in the 90's.So here is the NFL number system. QB's, K's, P's:-1-19RB's, FB's DB's:- 20-49Wr's: 10-19 and 80-89TE:s 10-19, 40-49, 80-89Oline: 50-79D-Line: 50-79, 90-99Linebacker: 40-59, 90-99I saw my first linebacker with a 40's number this year, Bisel from the Pats. I think this is pretty much the right number system.

He should just abide by the rules instead of trying to change him. He's not that freaking special. It's not like he's going to change the face of football forever.
