OT Potential New Oregon City

    So a petition has been sent to the Deschutes county commissioners to try and create a new city east of Bend. The area would be 265 Sq Miles, which is bigger then Portland. The area at this time has a population of 150. There has only been 3 new cities incorporated in Oregon in the last 42 years. This is also the one of the areas under consideration for the new dump to be placed in Central Oregon to replace the one on the east side of Bend.

    Not sure about the potential name of Mountain View. Not sure how much of a mountain view they have out there. I did read some comments about Bend's new Idaho border town.

    250 square miles and 150 people. If we needed more proof of there being a whole lot of nothing for huge chunks of Oregon, this is it.

    Plus, there's already a Mountain View in Oregon.
