Found out that I will NOT be traveling or working on Thanksgiving OR Christmas for the first time in forever. This is good.
We had a bunch of turnover. My old boss would have let me catch a red eye after the game and meet the team. Who knows now. Did it for the state championship game year ago. Let the team in Houston and flew home. Missed my first game in like 15 years.
Completely serious, I think it would be awesome if a bunch of people from this forum attended that game.
Seems like an easy fix. Take the red eye to Philly. Not sure The HCP wants to hang out with us dorks, but I would be down for it.
That Oct 14 preseason game in Utah will be interesting if Dame is still on the roster. Could bring up questions, considerations, or discussions of trading him to the Jazz.
Questions on message boards maybe, but playing a pre-season game isn't going to change the probability of him being traded to Utah.

Agreed - your probably right it's very unlikely to change any probability. It might bring up discussions in PDX, Utah or national media though as well as reading between the lines if Dame has any comments at that time. So its more that we could gain insight on a Dame trade or the status at that time if one hasn't happened. Utah, along with Golden State and now Miami are the only away games that currently could have an element of this.
I think it's odd, but it seems like maybe they're avoiding Scoot and Dame because they're waiting for things to shake out. I bounced the idea off Mike Richman that they weren't promoting Scoot because the Dame drama is still going on and they're worried it's too polarizing. He thought there could be some validity to that.
Rockets, Wizards, Hornets, Magic in the last 2 weeks of the season. The 3rd string & new Blazers on 10-day contracts might make those close games.
