I can understand him dropping out of the first round due to an injury, but I still believe all this fat and lazy stuff is overblown from someone WHO LOST 8 POUNDS since the Rose Bowl. [IMG]<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NFL | L. White has hamstring tearThu, 13 Apr 2006 14:44:22 -0700Mike Klis, of the Denver Post, reports USC RB LenDale White (hamstring) underwent an MRI on his right hamstring that showed he has a moderate tear near the pelvic region, according to Dr. Randall Eldridge, a Denver chiropractor renowned for his treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. The hamstring tear will sideline White until mid-May, which means White will not have a personal workout prior to the April 29 NFL Draft and may not be ready for the minicamp of the NFL team that selects him. "He should recover fine," Dr. Eldridge said. "He just needs time to heal. But I could see where he would have been in considerable pain had he tried to run." White hopes the tear found in his hamstring will ease NFL executive concerns about his work ethic. The extent of the potential damage to his draft value, however, won't be known until April 29.</div>

I see him going much earlier if the Steelers want him they will need to use their #32 pick on him.

Some team with very few flaws.........the colts, pats, amoung others. Would for sure take White if he slipped to the last pick in the second.

Sorta like Willis McGahee in the draft a few years ago, there was too much talent at that area that you have to take him.

Steelers arent interesting in drafting a RB. Cowher just said that in a press conference so we arent drafting LenDale White.

(Although if hindsight is 20/20 Charles Rogers wouldnt be there, but as a prospect Charles Rogers had an extremely high grade)The earliest I coulda seen him going without the injury was #4, Which was where we took Robertson.

McGahee was a borderline top 5 pick and fell to #23 because of an injury, with a much serious injury.LenDale White, up until about a few weeks ago, was a top 15 pick and im saying he'll likely fall to 27-45 with a much less serious injury. You dont like LenDale White because of a misconception that he is fat and lazy, but this was a guy who was 252 at the Rose Bowl and measured in at his pro day at 244, a loss of 8 pounds. While that may still be a little above what most NFL teams want, Jamal Lewis is 245 and Jerome Bettis is listed at 255 (Although he looks heavier then that). He's just a big guy which helps give him alot of power with the way he runs. I think hell be just fine in the NFL.

Reggie Bush shouldn't be able to give a better stiff are than his much bigger counterpart.

I think the Jets will nab him up in the 2nd round. They took a very similar player in LaMont Jordan a few years ago. He'll benefit from learning from Curtis Martin. But imagine this... Bush forces the Texans hands to take LenDale White. Wouldn't that be funny?
