I look forward to the day when there are not any Dame-related threads on the front page. Looking forward to talking about actual basketball. Looking forward seeing how the youth movement goes, good and bad. Looking forward to training camp.
Looking forward to getting a great trade haul for Dame. Dreading the though of seeing irrelevant starter(s) coming back and weak protected picks. I'd rather have nothing happen than that. Looking very forward to seeing Scoot irrespective of what happens with Dame. I've been very impressed with his maturity and focus while getting put in such an awkward situation.
I look forward to this Dame drama being over. I look forward to embracing Scoot/Shadeon and watching them become stars.
Looking forward to Dame-related threads well into next season, mostly expressing relief that he's still a Blazer, sometimes claiming they never really doubted him for a minute, and all celebrating exciting win after exciting win.
I don't know Dame and if he did I doubt he cares what my opinion is. Are you saying if I was part of Blazers management? Yeah I'd certainly consider asking Dame if it's best for him to stay home. That discussion might come up organically in communications with his agent if we couldn't find a trade before that though.
Dame has three years left on his contract. Cronin won't set a self-imposed deadline. There is no guarantee by what date Dame will be traded. Therefore, I think it's unlikely Dame will be sitting at home if he's still on the roster at the beginning of the season.
Hey, for me....as a Colts fan....I have the same crap going on with Jonathan Taylor. If you add the fact that as a Beaver fan and not knowing whether or not there is going to even be a conference to play in next year..... My entire sports experience is on some sort of evil hold. As it is right now, I might just walk away from the whole fricking thing.
Just grab that bass, play a riff, and let the blues flow... There's nothing but doubt... Surrounding my Beavs... JT's holding out... and Dame wants to leave... And it's so hard...following teams these days I got the...miserable sports fan blues!!
