i think we're just more in the 'who is the odd man out' zone atm - we have a lot of duplication in the back court and its even more confusing with Dame still here. id love to just press on with the Scoot n Sharpe show but as we have mega paid Dame and well paid Ant as well, its a bit of a tricky one as to how this all works together. id also like to move nurk and fine with nas leaving too, but the market for just about all these guys is pretty weak in regards to either 'fair' return or general interest overall.
Bingo, nailed it on the head. Those that say he was stats wise one of the worse defenders last season, he was playing SG, when he should be a PG. Also, you can mask someone's defense with who you put around him, and we do not have that at the moment.
He crushed it when he was running an actual NBA team, not in Summer League. I'm glad he didn't try and "dominate" Summer League and maybe get injured again in a meaningless bunch of Summer League games.
Honestly, I don't think he had a chance to shine. For some reason Blazers surround 6.3 players with 6.3 players and we always wonder why this is not working.
