Think about it.It's been over 4 months since Brett Favre's season ended and he still doesnt know weather he wants to play next season or not. He wants the team to go out there and waste money so that he can make one last run at the superbowl when they should be in rebuild mode, they are definately more then a few pieces away from being a competitive team right now. It also seems like he had done minimal work, if anything to help the development of Aaron Rodgers, which you think he would do for the betterment of the team around him after hes gone. In my opinion hes been very selfish with dragging this whole thing out, make a decision and stick with it, and to be honest, I dont care either way anymore.

Not really, this guy deserve to have all the time to think because he is a legend. Packers havent done nothing yet so let the guy think. The Media is putting pressure on him. Just leave him alone and he'll give you his answer when he's ready.

He isn't being selfish. I bet he has his mind made up that he's going to retire and the only reason he hasn't said nothin' is b/c he doesn't want Bears Nation to have a long time to celebrate [IMG] [IMG]

The team has to prepare for next season and with the draft coming up, they shouldnt have to have 2 sets of plans for if Brett decides to come back or not.I know hes a legend, but so was Jerome Bettis who made it known immediately that he wasnt coming back, so that the Steelers could formulate a plan without him.And Kyle Orton, You guys will have 17 weeks next season to celebrate if he doesnt come back......although looking at him this season, you might want to welcome him back with open arms. You can see it in 2 ways. First Brett Favre is GreenBay. They'll suck without him. He doesnt know what to do, so he's taking alot of time. Second, its unfair because the Packers dont know what moves to make. Either trade for a QB or draft one.

He isn't being selfish; the guy is a legend he should be given as much time as he is needed. The Packers should prepare for next season as if he isn't going to be with the team next year, that way if he decides to retire it shouldn't affect them too badly, and if he does decide to everything will be normal.

No Javon, No Ahman, No Davenport, the defense was horrible, Bubba Franks missed alot of games. Alot of key injuries plagued the Packers last year.

^^^^ Based off stats, our defense was VERY good. There are rumors over here that he already let Packer management know his decision a while ago, and they aren't telling anyone. The reason for that is so teams would still be iffy on the Packers drafting a QB in the draft, so then they would overpay us for our draft spot (5).

What this likely means is that teams got up on the Packers defense early and then ran the ball alot to drain the clock and time of possession in their favor. It is the same thing with the Jets, we had the #2 passing defense in the league, but that was only because teams were too busy pounding the run on us that they didnt need to pass for 300 yards to beat us.However, since you pick up yards alot more slowly by pounding the run then you do through an aerial assault, your defense looks better on paper then it actually was. If your thinking that your defense will be just fine next season, id hate to say it but your probably in for a big suprise. Especially since it looks like your gonna lose the one big run stuffer you did have in Grady Jackson.

No lol. Whatever he decides shouldnt really effect the draft or nothin, its a very tough decision anyways.
