    If that happened, great, but did Ukraine really need a leak to point a missile at Fleet HQ? Seems like they should have already known where the building was.

    Unlike the Ruskies, I don't imagine they want to make a mistake and hit a school or hospital. Hard to say what intel was needed and used. It could have been, "attack at XX:XX pm because that is when the commander eats his borscht in a specific room that is easy to target" or something.

    I think the intel would be more about the "when" than the "where" in this case.

    If you're against the US providing more assistance to Ukraine you might find this interesting.

    What a succinct and accurate putdown by this russian dissident. Probably speaking about Stalin but she was still alive until 2014 so who knows? Actually, looking more closely, she has to be talking about Putin. She recognizes a long time ago how dangerous he is. Could it also describe any modern want-to-be dictator?

    I am assuming that this guy pulled his own shirt off in court. What's amazing is that russia allowed photographs. Clearly a state that just doesn't give a shit what world thinks of them.
    @DefenceU

    He is not a prisoner of a Nazi concentration camp. This is a show trial of tortured captive defenders of Mariupol taking place in russia right now. What will it take for “Never Again” to truly mean Never?

    I think Putin wants people to see this. As a deterrent. What happens to those who oppose him.

    I guess Putin hates the Azov survivors so much because their sacrifices and suffering prevented him from taking a lot more territory. They held out at Mariupol for long enough so that Ukraine could recruit and train and arm a lot more soldiers. Not only did many of them die there at the steel plant but i believe every one of them was tortured after being captured. Then the russians blew up a penal barracks that many of them were held in and killed another 50. Their leaders were fortunate enough to be part of a deal that put them in Turkey for a year and then were released back to Ukraine. The top leader has rebuilt the Azov corps and is back at the front with them.

    The first meeting of EU ministers ever outside the EU took place in Kyiv today also.

    This sounds like a mistake that the responsible party has apologized for and resigned because of.

    Zelensky is the responsible party. And no, he didn’t apologize. The Commons Speaker got thrown under the bus and stepped down as of it somehow excuses the fact that Zelensky is running around with Nazis.

    Pretty weak anecdotal example. No evidence, no proof, no numbers. Sort of just some “sources” saying “there are reports”. The fact that a handful of Neo Nazis exist in Russia isn’t exactly damming either, that is an unfortunate truth of every country. Most countries just don’t let them influence their government and military.
    Meanwhile Ukrainian Nazis keep slipping onto our television screens and news articles. Whoopsie daisy! It’s apparently such a problem the editorial staffs can’t even keep up in hiding it.

    Agree it wasn't much, I didn't really bother to research it. Since there are a few Nazis in every country, why did you make a big deal out of supposedly (your evidence also weak) some in Ukraine? I suspect that you and most Republicans are naturally inclined to be opposed to russian aggression, but because your cult leader is aligned with them, you blindly follow.

    This is deflection. And projection.
    You are brushing off Ukraine’s well documented and basically irrefutable associations with Nazis while simultaneously trying to lump me in with what you see as extremists as a retort to me bringing it up.
