So in 10 years when we are trying to trade 8 time allstar Scoot Henderson…..can the self appointed INSIDERS on here just stay the hell out of it. Save your know it all posts and videos we had to endure this past offseason? I’m begging you.
This is your heart speaking. Your head will catch up later. BTW, your favorite player didn't want you any more...
Ayton is not a legitimate player for a playoff team???? He had 24 and 14 and hit the game winner in game 2 of the 2021 conference finals. He averaged 18 pts, on 70% shooting, and 14 rebounds in that series against the Clippers.
We needed one dissenting opinion. Its filled with very little logic, but its there! Go ahead and re-read the trade and you'll see it was good. Its unanimous once people come around to it.
Really with the numbers now? Just tell me you've watched him these 2 past playoffs and liked what you've seen. Tell me you thought "this is a championship caliber player". In 2 years we'll ship him for some bench player in Detroit or Atlanta
Oh, so like the year when he averaged 18 ppg in the playoffs and 13 (as easily the 4th option)? again, are you sure you're not thinking of Wiseman?
I guarantee you, unless Joe knocks the Jrue part of this deal out of the park that things will get more split. Most of us are reserving judgment until we see what the return on Jrue is.
I see Ayton as a different trade but I see Jrue as an extension of the Dame trade. If Jrue never plays a game for us, how is that a separate deal than the return we got for Dame???
What does it say that nobody's started a Dame Appreciation Thread. Sad end to the Blazers career of the franchise leading scorer.
Cornell was the best. Of course, when Johnny Cash covered the tune, it became even more iconic to me.
