Re: Chiefs depending on Holmes in '06 <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Chiefs | Peterson counting on Holmes in 2006Thu, 20 Apr 2006 16:11:07 -0700Dave Skretta, of the Associated Press, reports Kansas City Chiefs president/general manager Carl Peterson said he is counting RB Priest Holmes (neck) "in" for next season, as Holmes continues to recover from midseason surgery for head and neck trauma. "If we had to start today, right now, the doctor would not clear him for contact," Peterson said. "But we don't have to start today." Holmes is continuing to work out at his home in Texas, just as he has the past three offseasons. Peterson said doctors will evaluate him again soon, and new head coach Herman Edwards said he hopes Holmes will be able to return.</div>Pretty cool, hopefully he can make a full recovery.
Re: Chiefs depending on Holmes in '06 With this guy and LJohnson, these guys would have a lethal running game.
Re: Chiefs depending on Holmes in '06 Priest, I hate to say it but I think he will get injured man. I expect to see a lot more from LJ next season. If Priest can remain healthy, use LJ to pick up the tough yards then give it to Priest in the Red Zone.
Re: Chiefs depending on Holmes in '06 We don't need him.. we got LJ. I mean it would be a plus to have him back on the roster but LJ is the starter and that's all we need for now.
