At least Milwaukee is close to other big cities. We’re just in this rainforest bubble. It probably doesn’t get too much worse than PDX and OKC as far as NBA players are concerned. OBV some will love it here. But the rest will probably resent the place, let’s be honest.
Justin Termine on NBA radio roasts Fentress for comments he made on his show back in July on his show. Hilarous
For those who didn’t see this (and I’m going off memory here bc I did not screencap it, so correct me please). Brookfield Deuce said something along the lines of how: Other Players were trying to get Dame to leave for years. But Dame stayed, and now the FO did him dirty by sending him to MIL. Said he appreciated the fans in portland and ‘growing with them’ but that the FO is shady.
"Hey, you're going to the best place for you to win a ring. With one of the best players of this generation" "I FEEL DISRESPECTED. How can you ever think I want a ring" Is pretty much what this dumbass is saying.
I think all those "don't want to be in super team big market team" quotes from him bite his ass now. Of course he is in the best place to win a ring. But I am reading him like he would prefer Florida beaches than Wisconsin ring.
Dame seemed happy and someone told his cousin to shut the fuck up and delete what he'd already put out there.
He mentioned both Miami and Toronto had better offers. I also kept reading that the Blazers had 3 offers on the table. Reading in between the lines: Miami: Herro 2 1sts Maybe some swaps, maybe one of their two young guys Milwaukee Jrue 1 1st 2 swaps Toronto Dick Filler 2 1sts Maybe some swaps? I think Milwaukee had the best deal.
Well, and Milwaukee pitched in Allen for Ayton. No matter what, Miami would have needed to add something for the Ayton deal.
I mean sure. If they weren't going to chip in Martin, it would be Duncan Robinson. Not sure what PHX appetite is for eating that contract, but people obviously thought the Ayton thing was going to happen one way or another, so I'd imagine something was there.
