This is obviously a very one sided story. It does not shock me that our leadership wanted to start a rebuild. Nearly every action they did since Joe took over has indicated this (except for the Grant signing). If Dame really didn't realize this happening in front of him, I'm not sure what to say. I thought Dame also was onboard the rebuild, but he clearly wasn't. Why that changed, and where/when the lines got crossed is unclear.
To be fair, this was at the beginning of the trade process and two months had gone by when Dame supposedly wanted to rescind his request. A lot of drama had happened in two months.

how much of this article is Dame trying to save face for demanding out in the first place? we know for fact Goodwin was working with Miami on sending back the least possible value. like that is an undeniable fact. Joe getting upset is fully understandable tbh.
I guess not keeping his friends and family on the roster really soured Dame's opinion of Joe. At least he thanked the guy fired for unethical conduct. Thank God Harvey Weinstein was not on the payroll

This is the only thing I read that potentially a problem for the Blazers. Everything else is just entitled pro athlete with ridiculous self inflated worth. But if the Blazers pressured Dame to fake an injury for a better lottery pick....... It might depend on exactly what was said.
