Wouldn’t Ben Simmons would take PG duty’s away from Scoot?

As much as Justice Winslow took them away from Dame (before he got injured).

This team was very good with a healthy Winslow. Simmons is basically Winslow+++

What’s the status of Winslow anyways?

Not sure who we’d get in a Clips 3-way. It I’d love for Batum to finish up his career here

we need a couple of vets

I don't think Batum liked the climate in Portland.

Right now, I believe he remains unhealthy, unsigned, and unrestricted.

I hope that after all the moves if there is a roster spot, he will be brought back.

My ideal scenario's for core pieces in return for Holliday. I'm not gonna research salaries, so think up your own fillers and picks to make these work. I'm not saying every guy I name should be involved, just a few guys from these teams that I would want in some kind of combination in return.
Toronto-Achiuwa, Boucher, Barnes, Koloko, Dick. They have a glut of youngish, tall, frontcourt guys that I think would fit nicely.
Brooklyn-Clowney, Cam Johnson, Bazley, Sharpe, Whitehead, Wilson.
    Chicago-Williams, Caruso, Sanogo, Phillips, Lewis

Why the fuck would the Blazers want Chris Paul? That's a non-starter. I don't ever want to hear that name again in conjunction with the Blazers.

We'd have to immediately flip him or buy him out.

Tried to think what team might possibly want Harden, and I figured given the other players they've talked themselves into, maybe the Bulls!
Carlik Jones might be a hidden gem...

Would rather get a backup C. I don't really care about winning, just want some semblance of balance. If Ayton gets hurt, our rebounding goes to shit even more.

As you can see by my signature, I don't trust stats to tell the whole story. Especially defensive stats and even more so when, most of the time, you're on the floor with Dame and/or Ant.

You don't believe in Brown and Reath as our reserve center tandem?

Why? To get zero value from Jrue? To trade Paul for less than we can get for Jrue? There is no Warriors delimma because they will never be in a position to make that choice. Jrue is the most valuable on the market Blazers trade chip ever that I can think of. It's another arrogant article written for an arrogant fan base that thinks they can pick and choose other teams' players.

Philly needs to give up something for getting rid of Harden and getting great player,

dude, they would just buy him out, he's only salary ballast for the trade and getting Kuminga an pick/picks

As far as salary fillers go, Ball is easily the most intriguing I've heard mentioned. If he ever plays again, imo, he would be the perfect backcourt guy to play next to Ant (if Ant is still here and if Ant comes off the bench). I hope either of those two circumstances come true.

I don't think Kuminga and a couple picks would be zero value. Paul is filler. I want a young player like Kuminga and a couple picks.
