Should be a poll to see who Newsom appoints to her seat. I am guessing it will be Maxine Walters, any other guesses?

She voted yesterday on something in the senate, worked until the day she died.

Feinstein should have been removed from office long ago. It's insane they let her stay in office when she was so obviously impaired.

Something tells me we’ll be seeing a lot of this in the coming few years. Our government is an elder care facility that’s been commandeered by the residents.

You vote or you don't...the worst government officials trying to commandeer the govt are young Margorie Taylor Green and Laura Boebert and Matt Gaetz...if you thing that youth movement is progress I've got a bridge to sell you. I think and always have that there should be term limits but having cared for the disabled in my life, I think your ageism is misplaced. There are brilliant senior citizens and some real brain dead young career politicians. Jan 6th was harldly a senior ccitizen take over of the govt. Feinstein and McConnell should both have retired...Biden and Trump should have long ago retired...Joe tried to and was talked into coming back to counter Trump. He didn't want to be president to begin with. It is what it is. You're young, you should run for office and make a difference!

Age is not the parameter. It's The MAGA section the Republican party. They are radical and attract the lunatics we always had. The result is that the red necks are now assuming total respect with this affiliation. FWhVrwqWYAALGke.jpg

How many wars and conflicts have you been sold in your lifetime? You’re currently being sold another by the same bad actors. I’m not disparaging all oldies across the board, but the worst examples seem to fall heavily into that category and that is irregardless of party affiliations. The fundamental disagreement we have is based on you thinking there’s some sanctity of office that must be upheld, and a guy with orange hair talking shit is the worst crime against humanity. Whereas I see ZERO sanctity in our criminal government or its sick traditions, and believe millions dead for profit is a crime against humanity. GW Bush still walks the earth and Bill Kristol is a democrat now. Your Democrat heroes all voted for every Republican conflict and are currently steering the ship on the current ones. Blackrock and Chase bank will rebuild Ukraine with their $400 billion contract after upwards of a million young people (maybe more) are dead over there. The new and improved Liberal Democrat model of Halliburton. The old establishment just goes where the war is. When people die they profit. There’s no honor, sanctity or wisdom in these people’s ‘experience’. They’re monsters.

Cute meme. You realize all these bills are packaged with 1000 other items that aren’t listed, right? Nearly every bill ever written in the modern era by either party is some Trojan horse full of kickbacks for the clowns writing them or their corporate sponsors or lobbyists. Naming it the “give babies baby food” bill doesn’t necessarily change that fact.

Could mods kindly correct spelling of her name? Dianne.

Expect Moscow Mitch to block adding a Democrat to replace her on Senate Judiciary Committee. Democrats had one vote majority. With tie, no judicial nominations can move and if Trump returns to office he can stack courts with more hard right judges. McConnell isn't stupid, he knows Trump is a criminal, utterly ignorant, completely unqualified. But more right wing judges takes precedence.

    Sorry, but no.
Russia invaded their neighbor. We have the ability to help and we should be doing so. I'm glad we are.

This is the same as Kuwait, only the enemy is much stronger.

Heads should roll over Dubya's Iraq war, which was based on lies. I'm with you on that and a great many other wars/military actions.

    But not Ukraine. Not Kuwait.

I'm about as far from a hawk that you'll ever meet. I've been sold ZERO wars in my lifetime and sent to one horrible stupid war by Nixon ..I'm not being sold another war now by anybody....I'm anti-gun across the board. I'd like to see all the fucking things removed from society today. I"m the last guy who think war mongering for profit is a good thing. I do not think invading sovereign nations is acceptable and I think the free world needs to protect freedom. I'm in support of NATO and the UN but I think the UN has failed to bring peace to the world. I don't blame old guys for war...I blame greed and the lust for power on war. In our country I blame voters for old guys who don't have a clue making important decisions based on some reality tv fandom. Most young people in the US couldn't name the 3 branches of govt. We thought young people would bring about peace in the 60s but that sure didn't happen. Greed is a helluva drug

This why I don't make threads. Proper spelling, poll requests. Insanity.

Republicans started the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. The US armed forces became entrenched in the wars and Democrats had little choice with all
the money, equipment but mostly important, the lives lost. Politicians don't listen to the American People. Their agenda always sacrifices soldiers.

Yeah, It's getting ridiculous. They have guaranteed retirement. They should retire and enjoy the rest of their lives. Not die working in their office.
