I don't think DeAngelo Williams will fall past the 49ers or Patriots. While the 49ers really need to address their defense, I don't think they would pass up having a young QB, RB, TE corps to build around on offense.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Jon_Vilma @ Apr 22 2006, 09:35 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>LenDale White to the Jets.... I just don't see it.</div>I think it would heavily rely on his interview with the Jets. If he went in and interviewed well with the Jets, I think he would definately be drafted by us should he last until our pick. We might decide to wait until pick #35 though because if we have enough reason to believe hell last that long, we could put the 29 pick to better use.I do think all the 'fat and lazy' comments about LenDale White have been extremely overblown by the media, because of a mere 6 pounds that he added which very well might have been muscles from working out so much (Since Muscles weigh much more then fat anyway). Everything I have seen of LenDale White was fairly impressive up until his decision not to run the 40 yard dash at the Pro Day, which if he was injured back then also would have been a very understandable decision. He's a powerful runner with good size and can split time for a year or two with one of the best in Curtis Martin. As for the Mock, im not the biggest fan of spending a top 5 pick on an offensive lineman. But if our draft ended up that way I would be happy. I think you have Richard Marshall and Wimbley a little too high still and DeAngelo Williams too low, but overall it looks good.

For the 49ers they lost Peterson and Carter, so they need some young talent on there defense.

49ers dont need a RB, Frank Gore is just fine, why does everyone think the 49ers need a RB? Gore broke out at the end of last season, he jsut didnt play that much, but he will be a good RB to go along with Smith, hopefully Davis, and hopefully some other offensive weaponEDIT:I doubt with the addition of Arrington the Giants need a LB anymore. They will prob. take a DB.\I also think you have Haloti Ngata too high. He's probably not a Top 10 pick

Gore has also probably the worst knees of anyone in the NFL. He was a HS star going into Miami but injuries really hurt him. He was even ahead of Willis McGahee at one time. But you can't ignore the fact that Gore is extremely injury prone with knees that have been surgically repaired.

I think its well known now that the Bills aren't taking Ngata. The consensus is it will be either Michael Huff, Winston Justice, or Brodrick Bunkley.

I made this mock before I knew that the Giants signed Arrington. And Losman2Evans, I didn't know that, thanks.Bobferg - Addai is shooting up draft boards, and Maroney is falling.
