I getting really like this team we are set at center with ayton and Williams. Brogdon definitely strength our guard position and now get a 1st next year draft and we might two first next depending where we fall this season.
Love that we created the market for this trade by starting the arms race in the East with the Dame deal.
I don't see either getting traded both solid player and actually having 2 centers that's actually solid is really good.
What I like they both play defense and brogdon not bad on offense either. Actually starting to like this team after all.
Let’s see if we can get another first for brogdon and Williams. We need a top 5 pick this year to solidify our young core.
Brogdon sucks, we don't need him and he would pout if he deoesn't get minutes, Just waive him I guess
When healthy, having Ayton and Williams is frankly a luxury (and one that we haven't had since the one year of healthy Oden and Pryz... and these guys are probably better in their current state). I wonder if you can make both big guys happy. That may not be an issue given Williams's extensive injury history and Ayton's propensity to get nicked up from time to time. I'd assume they would try, or at least be open, to moving Brogdon sooner rather than later should the right deal materialize, but I am legitimately curious to know if they see Williams as a keeper as well. If he can stay healthy until the trade deadline, I could again see him as being a hot commodity for a contender down the home stretch.
Final tally on Lillard trade: Portland gets Deandre Ayton, Robert Williams, Malcolm Brogdon, Toumani Camara, three first-round picks 2024 (Golden State, Top-4 protected), 2029 (Bucks and Celtics unprotected) and 2028 and 2030 Milwaukee pick swaps. Per woj
Ok let’s see what we can get for brog https://x.com/wojespn/status/1708516046800359499?s=46&t=rA0Yh0DD0zQbNMNFNeCnQw
