“So when I got drafted, I missed a press conference over the phone,” Williams told Sky Sports. “And they start calling me Time Lord, like being late. But I got on the court playing and it was saying like, 'Oh, he's stopping time to go over there and block shots.' So, I can't hate on that, it was decent.May 26, 2023

Was going through the list of teams because I figured teams starting two bigs at PF/C was rare, but it's more than I had realized.

Cleveland (Mobley/Allen), Minny (KAT/Gobert), Utah (Lauri/Kessler), Milwaukee (Giannis/Lopez), and Memphis (JJJ/Adams) come to mind. If we do it, then a 6th of the league will be starting near 7' guys at PF/C. It's not THAT unusual.

Key is Ayton's shooting. If he can space the floor, it could work. Williams is mobile enough to be disruptive against even mobile PFs.

I was hoping this would be an OT thread. Disappointed.

TL shouldn’t be playing any more than 16-20mpg a night. In those minutes, I’d like to see us use some of his playmaking ability.

Having TL on the court can be times where we can surround him with shooters and kind of utilize his underrated playmaking ability. I think Ant + Sharpe + Thybulle + Grant + TL has potential to be great on both ends. Minus Ant, that lineup has serious length to get in the passing lanes. We can survive with Thybulle being the worst shooter on the court, but it’d be great if he carries his shooting from last season to this season.

I wouldn’t be opposed to trying a lineup of DA/TL out in spurts against specific matchups, but I don’t think they should be starting 2 bigs.
