So if we land in the lotto, we keep the pick and Bulls are screwed? Or we keep the pick and the Bulls get next years pick?

    Portland owes Chicago one 15 - 30 (non-lottery) 1st round pick through 2028. (Edit 15-30 first-round pick)
If Portland doesn't make the playoffs from now until the end of the 2027-2028 season, Portland only owes Chicago a 2nd round pick, and the obligation is gone.

Yes, Chicago will not get that first round pick if Portland misses the playoffs, and will not get it until Portland makes the playoffs.

I don't know why...about 90% chance Blazers are in the lottery this year. And probably quite a bit better than even odds they will be in the lottery for at least a couple years after that.

I suppose, if the Warriors pick is in the 25-30 range, maybe Portland could convince Chicago to accept. At the same time the Bulls might want to roll the dice they get a 15-20 pick 2026 or 2027

Just seems like he controls things more than Jody does.

Also, if it ends up being 2028 that the Blazers pick is a second and sent to Chicago then the pick swap that year with Milwaukee is voided

The rule your harping on is like jaywalking.... nobody cared much at all about teams tanking, Dallas even publicly admitted to doing it while throwing possible playin games and had nothing but a fine.

The primary point Nate was making is Dame looks bad trying to talk shit. He could have taken the high road as the Blazers have done with Dame but didn't. Tanking was a tiny part of his complaining, and yes Dame was in the wrong for being an accomplice in that small farce as well.

Tanking is not any of these things

Miami could only trade 2 firsts and Tyler Herro with those 3rd stringers (yes ESPN depth chart has Jovic/Jaquez as 3rd string)

That you are trying to argue this is 4 FRP is laughable and just as delusional as the ridiculous Miami media.

I used to pay the max I could for your channel and enjoyed listening to you both but the delusional emotional whining of the last few months and your false claims of "lying" is such a turn off. I've cancelled for now, but look forward to resubscribing when someday y'all can discuss the Blazers factually and professionally.

That's about as useful as me arguing with someone who thinks Scottie Barnes and 4 unprotected FRP from Toronto was a bad offer.

Like who the fuck cares? It's so unlikely Toronto could even assemble those assets, and they would never offer them, so it's all totally irrelevant to analyzing anything with the Blazers.

Do you just want to spend hours analyzing what random people post on the Internet - or do you want to analyze what's happening in the actual NBA?

Just totally disagree Miami could acquire two firsts for Herro. Im skeptical they could acquire 1. I wouldn't be surprised if Brogdon had more trade value than Herro.

Dude gets injured and his team goes from the playin to the NBA finals. Not even sure he's viewed as worth more than nothing on his 100 million deal.

Jordan Poole has accomplished more, won some big games leading to a title. He was traded WITH a pick for washed Chris Paul.

But you claim Herro is worth two FRP? LMAO

It's funny but I've thought we very well might get this in two years!

Having 3 unprotected years of Bucks drafts for the team Dame is on makes us their ideal trading partner if they ever try to break up that core.

I don't believe this is correct. In that case the Blazers own pick would be a lottery pick and only swapped with Milwaukee if they had a higher lottery pick.

Claim Herro is worth multiple unprotected picks and that Miami would offer the farm - instead of likely reality that they were trying to get Dame for a huge discount.
