http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/footbal...-home-headlinesHe has spent hours picking apart video and throwing to Derrick Mason and Mark Clayton. He has put on 20 pounds as a result of work in the weight room. And, judging by his first major interview since the end of another deflating season, he apparently has bulked up in confidence, too.Coach Brian Billick has long subscribed to the Bill Walsh theory that teams should know if a quarterback can succeed in the NFL after 32 starts. Boller has 34.He spends the time throwing to his receivers or running around the fields. He has increased his weight from 208 to 228 pounds since the end of the season and has taken up yoga with other teammates.
Great to hear, i remember last season Big Ben was very upset so he worked very hard to gain his confident by working out with Ward/Randel El more and he was in the weight room for a lot of hours.
I said this last year but I mean it even more this season. This is Kyle's year. Stop with all this McNair to the Ravens. We have something here with Boller. He looked great when he was healthy last season and now with this weight he has put on I think he is going to break out this year and really help Baltimore succeed on offence.
So what if he's working out and adding muscle. I'll believe that he changed if it shows on the field and he gets his team W's. He should be working hard because he's been a disapointment so far. I want this kid to succeed like you guys but I'm not convinced that this is his year. Last year it was supposed to be with the addition of Mason, Clayton, and heap being healthy. Maybe it changes this year.
I agree, Boller doesn't need better athleticism. He just needs to calm down on the field and he'll be fine. He also needs to relax during away games. If he masters the above, he'll be a good quarterback in the league.
