I’d love to bring in Erik Spoelstra in ‘24. The problem is I have no idea how to gauge Chauncey’s performance this year. I suppose it shouldn’t matter how well Chauncey does if Spoelstra is available. Going into ‘24-‘25 with Spoelstra as HC with

    Scoot
    Ant (possibly)
    Sharpe
    Grant (possibly)
    DA
    ‘24 lotto pick (Sarr???)
    Thybulle (possibly)

There’s a lot of talent for him to work with. Also a treasure chest of 1sts to attach with young guys in Kris and Walker and filler from a Brogdon deal to trade for a star.

Lemme predict Kris Murray is more ready to contribute than people are expecting.. He was watching his brothers rookie season closely im sure, n was present at a lot of games so id like to think hes a bit more prepared than most.. Cuz Im sure Keegan is working on consistency so hes probably passing that forward..

Plus, its just a really good outcome for the Blazers if Kris is ready early. could really provide a steadying presence for the backup unit, so im hopeful.

    I hope so!

Going to have to duke it out with Camara and Knox and Walker.
It'll probably come down to defense/rebounding and open 3-point shooting.

It hasn't been discussed much, but I do think the last few days would have made it a bit easier for Jody to sell if the trust should want to go down that road. That's just my opinion though.

I made two posts in this thread...the one you quoted and another about Jody selling the team. That's it...before this post of course

If Kris play like Keegan, we'd be set in all positions

No biggie but im speaking of all threads. You tend to analyze everyones opinion posts with stats etc. Save that for other threads. let loose with wild thoughts and have some fun in this one.
Im cutting you off at the pass before you break down more posts in this thread. :)

He's going to surprise a lot of people. He's a whole lot better than people think. Summer league isn't a good showcase for his game..he's not a showboat.

I enjoy that you said "I'm talking about all threads. Save that for other threads".

No need to cut him off at the pass. If he feels like he wants to research and bring stats to posts, he may.

He did look good one game though. He showed us a glimpse of what might be possible.

First, It was a request, not a demand.
Second, i like how you left out a couple of sentences. That makes the statement make more sense.
    Context matters.
    Nice try stuffypants…

some people just cant let others have fun. Lol. so go on with inevitable... turning a fun thread into a bunch of debates about who is wrong about what. Everyone has to argue i suppose…
    Carry on.

I was wondering if the competition between these guys deserved a thread. The top-8 on this roster are set, but I feel like any one of those 4 could conceivably emerge as #9.

I think it deserves a thread. We have a guard thread.

Pat Riley has a sex change operation.

Then Patty signs a $100,000,000 contract with Chanel for wearing their dresses and womens shoes.

Patty Riley would never ride a common lowly unicorn. He rides the famous dragon Smaug from the Hobbit movie.

The dragon Smaug is a perfect fit for Patty. Smaug hoards treasures while being an arrogant prick, which leads to his downfall.

This is a little too well thought out response. Not sure where to go with that?

Trying out a new brand of coffee this morning. Not sure where I'm going yet. Best to stay back a safe distance.
