First, lets all assume the Texans don't eff up everyone's projections, and take Reggie Bush.Next, the SN voters, and some experts like D'Brickashaw Ferguson to go to New Orleans. The Titans will take Matt Leinart or Vince Young... so, for the sake of things, lets just say that they take Matt Leinart.1. Houston - Reggie Bush2. New Orleans - D'Brickashaw Ferguson3. Tennessee - Matt LeinartNext, the Jets are reportedly looking to trade down, and Oakland's Al Davis is reportedly in love with Vince Young. A trade can be made to put Oakland at 4, and give the Jets an extra 2nd round pick. Vince gets drafted by the Jets and traded to the Raiders. To use an older phrase "Everyone and their mom" has A.J. Hawk going to the Packers, but Mario Williams is still on the board. Lets assume they stick to the plan and draft A.J. Hawk. The 49ers are now left with a choice: Quite possibly "the next Julius Peppers" or the next "Freak" in Vernon Davis. Nolan, being a former DC goes with Mario Williams, to give the 49ers a mainstay on the edge.4. Oakland (via NYJ) - Vince Young5. Green Bay - A.J. Hawk6. San Francisco - Mario WilliamsThe Jets are on the board still with a difficult choice. Winston Justice, a stud OT that they desperately need, or Vernon Davis a playmaker on offense that they desperately need... The Jets' front office likes "character" guys, something Justice is not. Vernon Davis is the pick here. The Bills have the choice of Justice and Haloti Ngata, they go with Haloti. The Lions have an easy choice to take the guy they love: Michael Huff.7. New York Jets (via Oak) - Vernon Davis8. Buffalo - Haloti Ngata9. Detroit - Michael HuffThe Arizona Cardinals need a QB for the future, but they also want to win right now. Kidd Keith thinks they are looking for an OT in the 1st or 2nd round. They therefore pass on Cutler and add a blocker for Warner and Edge: Winston Justice. The St. Louis Rams have had injury issues with Bulger, and he's not a spring Chicken, so they opt for the last remaining QB with a 1st round grade, despite their need for backers and DB's. Cutler goes here.Todd McShay is adament the Browns are still in search of an edge rushing 3-4 OLB, and Kamerion Wimbley's stock has continued to skyrocket (some now have him in their top 10). Wimbley is the choice here.10. Arizona - Winston Justice11. St. Louis - Jay Cutler12. Cleveland - Kamerion WimbleyBaltimore is in need of defensive help, as hard as that is to believe. A DT or a CB will be the 1st round pick, and the Ravens are in luck that Brodrick Bunkley fell to them here.Everyone knows that TO left, however Tom Heckert dropped some hints that he's more interested in adding an LB than a WR. Thus we see Ernie Sims go here.Denver got lucky and got this pick on the cheap. With no TE availible, they go with the WR they need as a compliment and future replacement of Rod Smith in Chad Jackson.13. Baltimore - Brodrick Bunkley14. Philadelphia - Ernie Sims15. Denver - Chad JacksonSo the top 15 would be:1. Houston - Reggie Bush2. New Orleans - D'Brickashaw Ferguson3. Tennessee - Matt Leinart4. Oakland (via NYJ) - Vince Young5. Green Bay - A.J. Hawk6. San Francisco - Mario Williams7. New York Jets (via Oak) - Vernon Davis8. Buffalo - Haloti Ngata9. Detroit - Michael Huff10. Arizona - Winston Justice11. St. Louis - Jay Cutler12. Cleveland - Kamerion Wimbley13. Baltimore - Brodrick Bunkley14. Philadelphia - Ernie Sims15. Denver - Chad Jackson
Nothing you said here had suprised me in the least bit. I still dont see Wimbley in the top 15 though....although I know some people do.

i like that for the jets, add an extra pick plus fill a somewaht need with Davis...alows us to trade Baker for an olineman perhaps?
The thing is, Oakland has no reason to trade up..I dont think the Jets interested in Young at all, and we're 99% sure that the Packers and 49ers aren't going to take him. Young is Oakland's without trading up.If the Saints take a QB over Williams/Ferguson/Hawk (which they wont, but you hear all the talk about Brees' contract basically being for one year) and then Tennessee obviously takes one..Then yeah, if Oakland wants a QB that bad they'll trade up to 4 and take the one QB remaining, most likely Cutler. But they're going to get a QB at 7, and with all of the needs they've got I cant see them giving up any picks to move up and get one. You've also got a ton of quality QBs in later rounds, and with a solid stopgap in Aaron Brooks they can afford to wait a round or two before drafting a QB, so Michael Huff may be the pick at #7 anyway.

Not to mention a 3rd team could trade up and take him at 4/5/6 like Baltimore or Arizona should they believe Young will not be there when they would normally pick.
I stopped after the St. Louis pick. WE WILL NOT PICK JAY CUTLER! I don't care if he's on the board for our 7th rounder, WE WILL NOT PICK HIM. Thank you.
The Raiders dont have to trade up, I dont think anyone thinks the Jets, Packers, or 49ers will draft Young. However if he is at #6 the 49ers may entertain offers but could slip back one spot just to assure the Raiders Young at #6.

They brought in Gus Frerotte for a reason, and I hear they actually really like Fitzpatrick.

The Jets have shown more than enough interest in Young to garner a trade from Oakland.
i tihnk the only defintie picks are Huff to the Lions, Hawk (if hes there) to the Pack and Chad Jackson (or Holmes if jacksons taken) to the broncos
