Had he not been waived 3 months ago, Watford would certainly have slotted in as our backup PF. But now that's probably the most open competition on this roster.

We've got 4 guys all around 6'8"-6'9" who could conceivably play either forward spot and profile as potential rotation players. Which one do you think is most likely to emerge as our ninth man?

This is a tough one. From the little I've seen of them all, I can't see a clear favorite. Hitting 3-pointers and defending well is going to be the key I think. So the one that does that the best.

Not sure I agree that they profile as potential rotation players...

The bigger question will any of them develop enough to receive a non-minimum NBA contract in the future? I'm not sure those odds are very high.

Knox was really good at curling around, getting a pass and finishing. His length makes him very hard to stop in that situation.

Pretty sure he can put the ball on the floor and get to the hoop faster than the other forwards.

Knox has a LITTLE Tayshaun Prince in his game.

“None of the above” might be a good option to offer.

Obviously we know that Harvey wasn't Horace but seeing Keegan Murray get things done at such a high level last season makes me feel pretty confident that Kris can be close to his twin.

Might turn out that way. That would make it difficult to trade Grant.

I have more faith in Rayan Rupert than any of the young PF-sized forwards, because I'm pretty sure Rupert is at least going to be a very pesky defender.

Right. I was thinking about voting for Camara because I haven't seen enough of him to know what his faults are.

He seems to me to be at that time in his career where he will lay it all out. He's prime....if he can maintain some consistency.

I want Walker to get minutes and see what we have with him.

Blazers are dropping a lot of hype into Jabari Walker. They've already labled Murray a "played against men" rookie. I figure Jabari & Kris will be main reserves, and Knox & Camara will get 3rd string.

I like Murray a whole lot but I'd probably put Jabari ahead of him in the depth chart..I like all 4 guys. Camara I've only seen summer league highlights but he looks legit for a 57 pick or wherever he was drafted.

I voted for Walker, without much enthusiasm. Knox might surprise, but the odds are against it. Murray looked kind of slow to me

I know nothing about Camara; was kind of surprised he's already 23

Seeing Paul George mentoring Jabari with footwork drills was really impressive. I voted for him although he's the least athletic of all 4 guys, he's sneaky smart.
