Dame - sent a 6 page tweet thanking many people within the organization, fans, etc, and also said he's excited to be in Milwaukee.

Well, he also said he is loyal, wants to build from within and not join a team of stars and thanked the guy that was dismissed for conduct unbecoming. He also dismissed the fans that critiqued his moves as "casuals".

At this point, it's easier to believe what he did not say... which is thank the guy that orchestrated his move to a contender.

Well he didn't thank Cronin specifically, so using your theory, we should believe he's thankful of Cronin. Glad that's settled!

As long as that's what you believe, I am glad for you.

I don't believe your logic is sound, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Sounds like you don't believe it either!

Oh, I believe my logic. I do not believe people that told me repeatedly one thing and then went against it. Hard for me to believe these kinds of people and take what they say seriously going forward. If that's a character flaw I have, so be it.

I do believe that if someone go out of their way to thank a man (NeO) that was removed for his workplace behavior and a guy (future Miami Heat legend) that claims to be for the community and the organization does not thank the man (Cronin) that replaced that disgraced person (NeO), gave that same person (Future Miami Heat legend) hundreds of millions of dollars and orchestrated a trade that allowed that same person a great opportunity to win - he did it for a reason.

So, yes, I find it hard to appreciate it.

Whatever Dame told you repeatedly should be believed.

Which part, the part that he does not want to join a team of superstars or the the part that he did?

Look, you can believe whatever you want. I was a big fan and as I said before, it takes a long time to build a reputation and a short time to lose it. He lost my respect. Simple as that.

I don't know what he told you specifically, only you do.

Now if we're talking about what was said in interviews, press conferences, etc. be sure you're ready to apply that logic evenly. I'd assume you're in the Cronin is a liar camp as well because he didn't follow through on everything he said as well? Same with Thybulle saying he wanted to go to Dallas and now saying he's happy to be in Portland. The examples can go on and on.

I'm not a fan of manufacturing outrage for Dame, Cronin, etc. but you do you!

Well, that sounds to me like a stupid way to go about being a fan. How can you like or not like something that was not said to you personally. I, like the vast majority of the fans judge players on their public statements and actions.

Oh, I do not think Cronin did not follow through. He said he wants to build around him and made moves to do it, some of these moves might take more time - which he never gave a deadline for, so I do believe him. I also believe him that he failed to do it as fast as he hoped to do as he said publicly.

I also believe Thybulle when he said that he wanted to go to Dallas because as a RFA they were willing to give him a contract and I do believe him that he is happy to be back because the Blazers matched that contract.

There is no outrage. There is disappointment. He is free to do whatever he wants and I am free to be disappointed in the way he went about achieving it and his inability to take the high-road after his requests from previous years to be able to compete were answered.

Trust me, if a player I did not hold in high regard did this, I would not mention it. But when you believed in someone based on what they told you (not the royal you, the fan community you) and were emotionally invested in his success turns around and acts in an opposite way, disappointment is a reasonable feeling to have.
