Good for him. And do you have a problem with the other 99% of celebrities that were supporting the harmful covid policies, while the establishment silenced actual experts in the field, such as authors of the Great Barrington Declaration?

The Great Barrington Declaration couldn't have worked (it didn't work anywhere). We had no place to keep the vulnerable and nobody to treat or care for them or provide focused protection without antivirals or vaccines.

If the establishment silenced these supposed experts, how do you know about them?

Have you and your wife called your doctor or advice nurse yet?

You both should be taking Paxlovid.

Also, it would help if you got a fingertip Pulse Oximeter.

It's the blood oxygen levels you should monitor.

Keep us posted, call out if you need anything.

Great advice, Sly. I had it last spring and it's definitely nothing to screw around about if you're a senior citizen. I called my doctor and he was kind of wishy washy about taking Paxlovid due to the fact that most people have "mild symptoms" and the possibility of rebound. I decided to go without and I wouldn't do that again. I never got to a severe stage, but it took me two weeks to test clean and another two to get over the cough. If/when I get it again, I'm taking Paxlovid. Pulse oximeter is a great piece of equipment to make sure you're getting enough oxygen in your blood. My Apple Watch has that built in and it made me feel better knowing that my levels were in a safe zone.

My doctor had me take my final four doses of Paxlovid 18hrs apart instead of 12hrs. That was to prevent the rebound and it worked for both me and Mrs PokerDog. BUT, that is what our doctors told us and we have both seen our doctors for years and they know our medical history. You should ALWAYS talk to your doctor and not take medical advice from dogs on the internet.

When I got Covid last November my doc was on maternity leave so I talked to a different doc in the group. He also recommended against Paxlovid as my symptoms were under control and I had all the shots. The worst part, honestly, was the cough. Just tore me apart. I really wished for some old fashioned codeine cough syrup.

Speedy recovery for you and yours my friend! Hopefully it passes quickly. My daughter in law got it from her best friend a week ago and she's young but having a tough time of it. Fortunately she didn't pass it to any other family member. Glad we ordered new tests a month or so ago.
