Scoot will be fine. While 2 points 2 assists and 4 turnovers in the first half Is disheartening. Rookie growing pains. He’s going to be good.
I understand why the thread was made. Valid question/discussion at this point. Yeah yeah he's young and it's early but I see your point. He doesn't seem to have any "generational" talents like LBJ size, KD shooting, etc. thus far.
I think Tom Haberstroh was made aware of this thread and just responded directly to it on the broadcast.
You're really bad at not blaming yourself for never thinking for yourself. Or having common sense. Or how to make a thread without trolling. You made a bust thread on a guy in 3 preseason games. Like hailblazers said, that's on you. Do better.
Has he played a regular season game? Yes or no? Has he played 20? 40? 82? No rational person should ever agree with the OPs post based on where we are at BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS. That's just sad.
Did we know this before preseason? So few draft prospects are likely to be generational talents. I'd bet a ton of money Scoot won't be as good as LeBron or Durant, but that doesn't mean he's a bust.
Wait until his first regular season game. If he doesn't permanently take out a Hall of Fame player like Lillard did then you know he's a bust.
Absolutely a BUST! And since we're calling busts this early.... the 2029 pick is also a bust! Hell....calling it now, all Blazers picks for the next 10 years are busts. The Blazers need to release Scoot tomorrow as no NBA team would ever dream to want him.
