Problem with Sharpe is he’s one of those players that will disappear if not giving a prominent role. The more you give him the better he looks.

last year as reserve he would show flashes as soon as you put him in stronger role he came alive again same thing happened last game Ant sat and he had to take on bigger role and he was more aggressive.

I think it’s going to be huge mistake if he’s not a starter by mid season

Nothing wrong with a little friendly competition to see who deserves to start. Mid-season seems like a fair amount of time to see what combo works best.

But what about GT, YBM, CDIV at SF but CFV and FGjr at PF?

the question isn’t ‘is Shaedon Sharpe a SF?’

It’s ‘would sharpe’s development be hindered long term if he got minutes at small forward this season?’

I don’t think anyone wants Shaedon playing SF long term. But I’d rather play Sharpe a bit at SF this season and get maximum value in a trade for some of our short/medium term assets vs. making premature moves just to get Sharpe at SG immediately.

And as stated above, some minutes at SF early on didn’t hurt some SG legends.
