Thats easy. Cut Knox, Minyana and Conditt. Keep Reath and Brown. We have wings and guards for days. Plus big men get injured more often.

I don't understand this Sharpe as the backup PG discussion?

With 3 starting quality PGs on the roster, and that being by far our strongest position, Sharpe will never play that role this year. He might initiate offense, but that is a very routine, very normal SG role. Durant routinely does it but I'd never call him a PG.

Maybe we have very different definitions of what makes a player a PG.

Just out of curiosity, who are the three starting quality PGs?

I think some may have Ant pegged as such but to me he is far from starting quality PG. Not much of a PG, more of an SG.

3 centers plus 1 on a 2-way contract is what I see. I doubt they keep 4 centers on the active roster. It seems to me it will come down to either Brown or Reath.

When he has started at PG, he has played that position just fine. I've shown the data previously from 82games.com that shows he's been more efficient and productive at the PG position than at SG.

Agreed, and I don't think it's a difficult choice to keep Reath over Brown.

Head to head for his whole career, Ayton has dominated Zubac.

I wanted Reath over Brown. I don't understand what they did here.

Beat I can figure, Brown would have more interest from other teams than Reath, so this is the way to keep them both around. But I'm only guessing here.

So this is the new city jersey?

Looks like they kept a little plaid in it.

The front of the jersey is fine - the back with the plaid shoulder tabs is not good.

doesn't matter much, so take the vet? Say what you will, this team has a LOT of mentors for Sharpe and Scoot.

My guess is they value rim protection. It is the one thing he is better at than Reath. The guy is 7'2 with a 9'5" standing reach....and he moves well. As a 3rd center I have no problem with hm

Cronin's clever 'can't-see-forest-thru-trees' plan is working

Blazer fans are so busy debating Brown vs Reath, and Wainwright vs Knox, they won't notice the overall suckage; and by the time they notice, it will be close enough to the lottery to shift attention
