So for the record Im thinking Isaiah Collier at USC is more of a lotto pick type of talent.. he's got a very wide range on all sorts of mocks right now from top10 til late 1st rd..At 6'4" some team is probably gonna draft him early, bronny james being out shouldnt hurt him much.. hard for me to believe Collier will fall to the playoff teams in the draft, he seems too good.. relatively high floor player far as things stand now so they say Collier went 4/4 from 3 vs UNLV in a scrimmage n scored like 23 points with 9 boards n 6 assists.. If Collier shoots it well from 3 --- He's a lock to go in the lotto.. those projecting him late in the 1st rd i assume dont believe in his 3pt shot.. so we'll see how that goes this season

@bxb question on Buzelis: How does he compare of Franz? Franz is someone I love for this squad. I’m not totally convinced on him yet, but I will be seeing him in person when the Ignite come to town. Buzelis looks like he’s going to be a better shooter. But is he going to be good enough to consistently guard SFs? Franz also is better at getting to the basket, but I don’t see that being an issue for Buzelis, eventually. I still like Sarr as the #1 target, and I’d likely gamble on Buzelis if it was Buzelis vs Holland if Buzelis if I know for sure that Buzelis can be an above average defender. I’m hoping to see guys who can make players across all positions in this next Blazers era. Scoot came into the league with the reputation of becoming a culture changer and natural playmaker, Shae is starting to show he can make plays as well. Buzelis would be another guy who can do a bit of everything. I want unselfish basketball for the next decade, and I think that Buzelis would be a pretty good consolation prize if we didn’t get Sarr.

Well as a general rule I try to hold off til 3 seasons before I start talking "redraft" type scenarios.. but in the case of the 2021 draft, we can safely say quite a bit of dust has settled.. for me personally, i obviously had a much better read on the 2nd rd than much of the first.. well first off I didnt have a great read on Franz in that draft.. well to be frank I shoulda had both Franz AND Trey Murphy higher in that draft... But it's not like I had a problem with the Magic taking Franz 8th or whatever --- to me a far more egregious pick was Davion Mitchell who went next, thats where I think Kispert shoulda went tbh and he ends up falling to like 15th or whatever.. but again, I might say totally different at the end of the season.. Davion Mitchell going 1/7 from 3 in one of those playoff losses to the Warriors last playoffs is still fresh in my mind(strange to me that the kings fought so hard all season to put it all on the line with 7 3pa's from davion mitchell.).. but in my defense I was a believer in Cory Kispert and Kispert isnt all that bad.. Or Im not sure, I dont watch the wizards, but Kispert shot 42% from 3 on 5+ attempts last season at 24 years old, hes no slouch. and the Magic were one of the last teams in the running for who I was gonna root for along with the Pistons, but I decided to follow Portland cuz I like the players and the western conference with Wembanyama is gonna be a blast. But Buzelis is more athletic in the open court i think, he's more dangerous on the break.. he is similar to Franz in how he's comfortable off the ball and still a big $ type of player.. Buzelis is also just a bit more practiced at the same stage, everyone knows for years he sorta runs the show... For me personally like I'd hope that Buzelis would be sort of like a better version of a Franz and Ben Simmons fusion, n he can shoot the 3, though matas isnt quite the brusier that Simmons is, vs SG's he sure is.. I am with you on the whole "sarr is #1" though.. Sarr represents a whole lot of upside, he's not to be written off at this stage, not even close..
Theres a rumor floating that the Lakers will draft bronny to keep LeBron around... well its funny cuz i remember when draftexpress hired this guy mike shmitz whos now the asst gm for the blazers like a decade or 2 ago, idk whenever it was, i was young then n now im old, this is WAYYYYYY before espn acquired draftexpress or just 'dx'.. but i remember when they hired schmitz to do the video edits i was thinking "i could do this guys job just as good if not better if i knew this editing shit" hahaha n not like as any shade but just cuz i enjoy doing stuff like this its relaxing to me.. but like that was back in the day --- draft express used to have Serge Ibaka way too low in their mocks.. im one of those people thats not well behaved.. i never did my homework.. i barely even went to school i was a juvenile delinquent wich is why i wasnt allowed to try out for the basketball team, n i was way better than pretty much every single player but one, i could crush the local community college starting pg 1v1 n block him mercilessly over n over (n he would score 15 a game in college) but i couldnt even try out for my hs team.. i never listened to anything my mother said... highschool dropout.. I thought i was the white de'aaron fox in highschool even tho im just 6'1.. but i was always good at taking tests, i got a good score on the sats.. id get the highest grade in the class on an english test about a book that i didnt read, n the teacher would say "you got the highest grade in the class" n id say "i didnt even read the book you just cover all the material in trhe revriew"... so io never did my homework.. but like on this subject of basketball, i enjoy doing my homework so my tests even when they arent perfect scores (and they never are) usually have some spectacularly on the money answers, and also some hilariously incorrect ones too.. but im just learning.. but also thats why i start early n just try to establish a baseline but also my style is too potent to stick around for more than a few years.. i dont really want my reputation to proceed me i wanna be graded on my next test... cuz im a bit of a thrill seeker like that..
