Ayton's bad game was because of foul trouble. Scoot's only 19. Blah blah blah coming from Blazer camp. "Be patient, we are going to suck." Meanwhile Dame just exploded his nuts all over Philly's face in his debut. The blazers didn't compete last night. I worry that the team and Billups will accept sucking a little too much. "It's all good brah no pressure, we're allowed to suck." A couple years of that and it becomes the culture. And Billups is the elephant in the room. Something to wary of going forward...
Four steps of problem solving I've come up with in life are Situation, Problem, Process, Solution. Never get stuck in the problem step...some people never get past that part for a lifetime. As it is I'm in the process step of evaluating coaching options.
(A) another new thread complaining when the meltdown thread is right there (2) I’m sorry I didn’t get all of your shtick correct lol
I take it that this is the actual point of the post and yes I totally see it. Nobody anywhere thinks this team should have competed against the Clippers. Pretty much everyone has accepted that they will be bad this year. People all over this forum and others are already looking at next years lottery players. Nobody is holding anyone responsible. Oh yeah I totally get it. The Culture of this team is changing. Watch Grant and Ayton out there on the court. Watch Simons? Scoot seems to like smiling when Westbrook is blowing by him. Don't worry. They dress well.
Can we get a thread that tells us when we should create new threads? And maybe stickie it or something. I worry about @THE HCP blowing a gasket
Even you must see that this team has no real grit and grind. It lacks a heart and soul leader. The will to win isn't there. Even Chauncey seems to just make excuses and accept losing. Personally I can accept they are young. I can accept they will not win much. I'm looking for a player to really start to lead and become the true face of the franchise again. Maybe I got spoiled having Lillard on the team?
To me the team will either develop grit and hard play with some success and growth or it will just go through the motions with stagnant play. If they don't show improvement signs, with a few multi game win streaks by end of season maybe a change should be considered. I dont expect that though as both Joe and Chauncey bought themselves at least 2-3 years more after this season by tearing it down.
Feel sorry for people who must live life in a constant state of outrage with quick judgment on everything. Life must be the worst when every small thing must be blown into a big serious issue and you must panic with quick reaction without any time to understand or have patience.
my god, it's one game, with a ton of new faces that never played together, with a rookie 19 yr old PG. RELAX!
This team has played ONE GAME. I hate when the Blazers lose as much as anyone, but if one game is pushing you this close to the edge, I suggest you find something else to do with your time this basketball season.
Kj is a true fan and isnt going anywhere. He has a right to his opinion even if i think he is wrong. but yes @kjironman1 you cant change the past. Embrace the now and have hope for the future my friend!
Can I disagree with pretty much everything you said and the way you said it, but agree that we should be allowed to be a tick skeptical of Chauncey's search for a team identity?
