Exactly who I had for them in the 1st round mock draft. Those two should be cornerstones on their OL for many years to come.

Jets rounded up the day in 2 questional picks in Anthony Schlegel - ILB - Ohio State and Eric Smith - S - Michigan St.Being that I hadnt heard of these guys much before I had to do some research on them.... http://jets.scout.com/2/525902.html (Being that we have the Coast-to-Coast Speedster in Vilma next to him, I think it will help him not have to worry about the speed issue too much, Overall It kinda reminds me of like a Tedi Brushchi best case scenario type guy. Someone without the natural wheels but always seems to be in the right spot at the right time to make a play.) http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...3/1059/SPORTS11 http://www.draftdaddy.com/prospects/ringTailed.cfm (Sounds like a decent player with some potential, a players whos stock was on the rise entering the draft and someone who might not have been around in the 4th round had we wanted him then. We'll see what happens with these picks, but they had more potential then I origionally though IMO.)
the Shlegel kid or whatever sounds at the very least, like a hustle player with great instincts and intelligence. Not as bad as i thought. The safety..i dunno...before i read this ^^^ i thought he was the injury kind of guy...the name...i dunno. Anyway..i loved the two OL, and the Shlegel kid could spell Vilma a little, thats cool. I think the Clemens could be great, i dont know a lot about him. The only one i regret is eric davis....funniest scenario - draftin marcus vick with the compensatory pick...how crazy would boomer Berman been...omg
I think the Jets have had one of the better ends of the draft on the first day. The O-line problem is solved atleast

Leon Washington, averaged 7 yards a carry in his junior year. Only reason he had a 4.4 last year was because of his injury. Brad Smith, QB/WR. Two positions the Jets needed.
